Chapter Eighteen

He tightens his grip of her arm, making the pearls of her sleeve pierce through her skin. She hisses in pain, trying to free herself from his tight grip.

"Let me go! What are you doing? It hurts, let me go!" Sahaan yells, trying to free her arm from his death grip.

"So? Let it hurt! Why do you love hurting others? What do you get out of it? What is it that you want?” Each passing second, his grip tightens around her arm.

"What the heck is wrong with you? Why the hell do you hate me so much?! Why are you taking your anger out on me?” She asks questions of her own.

"What did you tell grandma? How did you make her hate Tanzeen? And who are you to interfere in our family matters?” His each and every word is filled with venom. Her eyes harden, hearing his mention of Tanzeen.

"So, this is about her?” The little emotions she had are gone by now. She’s completely stoic.

"Why so much hate, Sahaan? What are you going to do with so much hatred? Tanzeen loves you like a sister and look how you treat her," He loosens his grip a bit.

"She loves me like a sister? When you find out what she did to me, you’ll loathe her. But it’ll be too late! Who am I kidding? You’ll loathe her for me, as if!” Her emotions return and she looks up at him, trying to find something in his eyes.

"Stop with your bullshit and give me those sets!" He yells in anger.

"Aw! My Sahaan’s tiny heart broke? Well, happy to know!” He says with a cheery tone.

Sahaan thought he couldn’t hurt her anymore than he already has. But she was wrong! Every word out of his mouth hits her heart, weakening it more and more.

“Listen clearly. Whenever I get the chance to insult you, I will take the chance and insult you. Only an idiot won’t take such a chance! After all, we don’t get the chance to insult you daily.” He walks towards the door, not knowing the effects of his words on Sahaan.

Sahaan gathers up her courage and tries for one last time,
