Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1623

"Yep, let's bounce," Erica agreed.

She had never liked Lara, and knowing Lara was an Illuminati bigwig made her skin crawl.

The four of them bolted from Orkgate that night, hightailing it back to Potter Mansion to tackle the dark web mess.

Jordan set Randy up with a tricked-out computer room.

Randy couldn't help but marvel, "Being rich has its benefits."

"This website is for Illuminati members only," Debra said. "See if you can hack an account and snoop around without tipping them off."

Randy rolled his eyes. "I thought it'd be some hardcore gig. This? Piece of cake."

"That's not tough?"

"Nah, compared to the crap Marion made me do before, this is nothing."

Erica whacked his head. "Quit yapping. How long will it take?"

"Half an hour, tops," Randy smirked. "Depends on their defenses, but I can crack any firewall."

Erica, used to his cocky attitude, turned to Debra. "Give him half an hour. Why don't you two sneak off and get cozy? I'll holler when he's done."

He swung open a guest room door, and the second it shut, he pinned her against it. "I've been losing my mind thinking about you."

His breath was warm as he stared at her lips, then kissed her.

The kiss lingered, deep and needy. Debra felt like she couldn't breathe, but he wasn't letting up. Their tongues brushed, and she let out a whimper. He scooped her up in his arms.

"Don't get carried away," she murmured. "We still have important things to do later."

"We've got time," he said. "They won't barge in."
