Marion didn't give Ryan a chance to bolt.
Amid Troy's pleas and Ryan's protests, he tossed them out. His crew stuffed them into a car's trunk and hauled them off.
"Simple and brutal—classic Marion." Randy clicked his tongue.
He figured this would be a day those kids never forgot. The last one to get this treatment was Liza.
"Alright, looks like the Illuminati isn't going to act against us. Let's not poke the bear," Randy said, opting for peace.
"Easy for you to say." Erica glared. "They're still after Drake. What, we just hand him over?"
"He's not a good guy anyway," he mumbled. "Let them have him."
"What's that nonsense?" She smacked his head. "We're a team now. Who knows what the Illuminati is really up to? What if they're plotting something huge, like wiping out humanity? And don't forget, the one who screwed over our family might've been their leader."
She turned to Debra and Marion. "I trust you guys and support your every choice. Just don't keep me in the dark next time."
"Erica..." Debra felt a pang of guilt.
Randy spun to Marion. "Save me, man. She's roping me in the second I get here."
"I'm with her." Marion shrugged.
Randy was reluctant but eventually caved under the pressure.
"No rush," Debra said. "Take the night to chill. We've gotta get back to Seamar City pronto. Orkgate is Lara's turf now. If she catches wind of this, we're done."
