Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 1624

Marion planted a kiss on Debra's forehead.

These past months, he'd missed her like hell. Rumors about their marriage falling apart bugged him badly. He'd nearly trashed a few tabloids over it but held back.

Right now, he just wanted to hold her hand, march out in public, and tell the world she was his forever love.

"It's only been two months," Debra teased, poking his cheek. "Why are you acting like a kid?"

He caught her hand. "62 days, 1,512 hours, 90,720 minutes. Every second apart, I was thinking of you."

"Me too," she said, smiling as she kissed the corner of his mouth.

Countless nights, she'd reach for his pillow in her sleep, only to find it empty. These past two months made her realize he meant more to her than she'd ever thought.

He was part of her life and the only family left in this world. He was her rock and her one and only love.

"I don't care how others define love," she said. "Love doesn't even cover how much you mean to me."

Her words touched him, and his throat tightened.

He used to think he was an emotionless freak, living just to get through it. Without feelings, life was torture.

Caleb had given him a reason to keep going: revenge. Then he met Debra and got to see the world's colors.

"Hey, don't jinx me." Randy nearly jumped out of his chair.

Erica walked in, curious. "What wedding?"

"Wedding? We weren't talking about any wedding," Randy blurted, shoving her inside and shutting the door.

He grabbed the fruit she'd washed for him. "Marion just couldn't take a joke, threatening not to let you marry me."

Erica blushed. "Don't get full of yourself. I never said I'd marry you."

Randy got serious. "What? Back at their wedding, you promised to marry me. Debra's my witness."
