Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 83

"What? Do you want to leave?" Zayn approached Lindsey slowly. When he saw her wary face, the smile on his face became more sinister.

"Do you think you can get out without my permission? Lindsey Juhl, how much patience do you think I have?"

With every word he said, he moved a little closer to her. After a while, he forced Lindsey into a corner.

Seeing Lindsey’s lack of reaction, Zayn lost his interest and lowered his head to say. "Tsk tsk...you still have the strength to mess around, huh? It looks like I wasn’t tough enough on you."

"Zayn Guggenheim, what do you want to do?" Lindsey's expression finally collapsed as she looked at Zayn scornfully.

"You, of course."

There was no longer a trace of his rage from this afternoon and his voice was gentle like a lover's murmur, which made the alarm bells ring in Lindsey's heart.

She was most afraid of this side of Zayn.

That was because she never knew what would follow the next second after this split second of tenderness.

As expected, Zayn suddenly whipped out a pair of handcuffs as if he was doing a magic trick.

There was fear in Lindsey’s eyes as her body trembled. “Zayn, what are you doing?”

Zayn did not reply and reached out to grab Lindsey’s hand. A click sounded as he cuffed her wrist.

"Zayn Guggenheim! You crazy bastard! Let go of me!" Lindsey struggled violently and Zayn did not exert much force, so Lindsey managed to break free.

In the next second, Lindsey used all her strength and ran towards the door.

Zayn had an evil smile on his face like a bloodthirsty beast. He was not at all worried that Lindsey would escape. Instead, he was enjoying the thrill of watching his prey struggle in the face of death.

It was then that Lindsey realized the door was locked.

The other end of the handcuff was still in Zayn's hand. He gave it a fierce tug and Lindsey fell to the ground.

However, the man did not show the slightest bit of sympathy for her and without hesitation, he locked the other end of the handcuff to the bed.

"This is my gift to you. How do you like it?" Zayn hooked a bunch of keys on his fingers and waved them in front of Lindsey. The corners of his mouth curled up into a wicked smile.

The keys reflected an icy cold light that was a bit blinding.

"Zayn Guggenheim! I'm a person, not your pet!" Lindsey roared as she was filled with despair.

She tried to rip it off her hand, but it was all in vain.

"It seems like you still don't understand my intentions." Zayn reached out and caressed Lindsey's cheek gently. "When you’ve reflected on your mistakes and promise never to make them again, then I’ll uncuff you."

Lindsey pushed his hand away and yelled, "What have I done wrong? Zayn Guggenheim, that's all in your crazy imagination! I've never done anything to wrong you!"

"That would be best, but I have my own judgment." Zayn looked at the red fingerprints on his hand and felt a stinging pain in his heart. He leaned down and lifted Lindsey's chin. "Do you want to know what happened to those two people?"

Lindsey thought for a moment before realizing that he was talking about the two women who brought her back to the Guggenheim mansion.

"I don't want to know." Lindsey had an intuition that they did not end up well.

Zayn's eyes carried a beastly light, but his gentle voice almost suffocated her. "I first had them stripped naked, then broke their hands and tied their feet together before throwing them out. Of course, I allowed them to fight back, but unfortunately..."

After he said that, he even had the excitement to kiss Lindsey and said, "How’s that? Are you satisfied?"

"Zayn Guggenheim, you’re f*cking crazy!" Lindsey was about to go mad. She never knew that Zayn was actually so terrifying.
