Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 582

Lindsey did not expect things to turn out this way.

She rubbed her brow as Ann went crazy trying to get up and pounce on her while screaming. Unfortunately, Ann hurt her leg and her wrist was also injured. When she moved, blood flowed everywhere from the wound and the ward looked like a murder scene.

Outside, Soren heard Ann shouting and hesitated for a few seconds. He felt really uneasy and just wanted to push open the door to check out the situation when a large hand stretched out from behind him and pushed the door faster than him.

Zayn went in and took a look around. Ann looked wretched sitting on the hospital bed. She had one hand covering her wrist as she stared at Lindsey with deep hatred. Lindsey was probably frightened by the look on her face and frowned on the side.

He swept a glance at Lindsey and noticed that she was not injured before he let out a silent sigh of relief.

The people in the room did not expect Zayn to come in so suddenly. Lindsey looked up at him somewhat surprised, but Zayn's gaze was already on Ann at this time. She then quickly withdrew her gaze.

"What's going on?" Zayn looked at the wrecked ward. He had also seen the wound on Ann's wrist, but he did not call the doctor to deal with it immediately.

The moment Ann saw Zayn, her eyes looked a little strange. She swept a glance at Lindsey and quickly turned aggrieved. She looked so pitiful.

Ann lifted her injured hand as tears instantly streamed down her face. "Zayn..."

Without any explanation, the situation where Lindsey was standing intact on the side and Ann whose hand was bleeding profusely, already spoke volumes.

It was just his name, but a clear line had been drawn between the three people. Lindsey was on one side while Zayn and Ann were on the other.

Zayn took a look at Ann's wound. It was not deep, but it kept bleeding. He hid the emotions in his eyes and coldly ordered the person behind him, "Go get the doctor."

When Ann saw this, she took the opportunity to accuse Lindsey. She quietly wiped away her tears and looked so pitiful. “Ms. Juhl, what do you mean by this? You brought two men into my ward and even injured me. Is there no law in this country? Because of Zayn, I’ve tolerated your slander several times. After all, you’re Zayn's ex-wife, so I don’t want Zayn to be caught in the middle. But this time, you even hurt me! If not for Zayn's timely arrival, were you going to just kill me?"

Lindsey had not said anything since Zayn came in and thought that there was nothing she could say. She glanced at Zayn, then at Ann, and sneered at the woman's performance.

Ann was in tears. If no one knew the truth and just listened to her side of the story, Lindsey was simply a wicked woman who did everything she could because she could not get over her ex-husband and was jealous of his current fiancée.

However, no one in the ward believed her words. Whether Lindsey started it or not, she did not hurt Ann. The man who hurt Ann was not even instructed by her.

After accusing Lindsey, Ann looked at Zayn again. The doctor was still not there and her wound was hurting, which made her hate Lindsey even more. She wanted Lindsey to suffer, and she knew what Lindsey's lifeline was.

"Zayn, I want to call the police. I can’t just let her get away with this!"

As soon as Ann said that, Lindsey finally became angry.

Lindsey stepped forward and looked at Ann who was sitting on the bed. "Great! I was worried that you wouldn't cooperate when the police came. Let the police come and see what a kidnapper that wrongly accuses someone else looks like!"

She spoke with a vague oppressive aura.

After Lindsey left the room, the doctor "rushed" to help Ann treat her wounds.

Lindsey walked out of the hospital and found that the young man was still following her.

Soren stayed at the hospital while this man followed Lindsey and the driver. Even though they were on the street, the driver dared not run, probably because he was terrified of Zayn’s men. No one knew what he had encountered.

Lindsey was in a bad mood, so her tone was not great. She looked at the young man behind her and frowned, “Why are you still following me?”

The young man was naturally smiley. Although he could see that Lindsey was not in a good mood, he still smiled before he answered, "Soren said that the President has ordered me to protect you."

Lindsey pointed behind him. "Go back to where you came from. I don't need your protection!"

After saying that, Lindsey turned and walked away. The young man also followed in her footsteps. After walking a few meters, Lindsey was extremely annoyed. "You’re not leaving?"

The young man did not say anything. They all said that the Madam had a good temperament, but she seemed to be really angry today and was so fierce.

Lindsey did not know that she had traumatized the young man. She stood on the street and paced around, then pointed to the kidnapper. "Go, send him to the police station for me, and don't follow me."

She was sad and just wanted to be alone for a while.
