"To visit you, of course." Lindsey stared at Ann.
The man who had been following behind Soren followed Lindsey into the ward. Lindsey then closed the door of the ward behind her.
Outside, Soren was confused for a moment. ‘Didn't we agree not to close the door?’
Lindsey just stared at Ann. It had been a while since she saw that woman. The woman's face without make-up was simple and more pitiful. She did not look as charming as when she was heavily made up.
While she sized up Ann, Ann was also doing the same to Lindsey and the man in front of her. This man looked quite familiar. Ann looked at Lindsey in disbelief. "What the hell do you want?"
Lindsey went up a few steps closer and looked at Ann from above. She did not miss the panic that flashed under Ann’s eyes and spoke slowly, "I’d like to ask you instead. What the hell do you want by getting someone to kidnap me?"
Ann looked at her mockingly. "When have I asked anyone to kidnap you?"
Of course, Ann would not admit it because she had not played enough games yet. Lindsey was still alive, so they had to continue to fight.
S.P. Corporation's head office in Honduras had been dealing with some problems during this period. Her previous hasty return to the States only brought a worse result than she initially imagined.
Sooner or later, S.P. Corporation was bound to go bankrupt, but before that, Ann needed to get her revenge on these people.
Lindsey took another step forward and looked at Ann. If Lindsey ignored the woman’s tone and voice, she felt that this face was somewhat familiar.
However, Lindsey really could not recall who Ann resembled. There was no one in her memory whose looks overlapped with the woman in front of her.
“You got gangsters to kidnap me, then tried to abduct my child in the parking lot. This time, you got this man to impersonate a driver to kidnap me. Ms. Ann, this is the third time something like this has happened, so what the hell are you trying to do?”
Lindsey’s face was calm as she looked at the woman in front of her. Ignoring the familiarity, they had never met before. Lindsey could not remember having a grudge with such a person in over twenty years of her life.
Several times, Ann said and did things that gave Lindsey the feeling that they were old acquaintances and that there was deep hatred between them.
It was a terrible feeling.
Ann knew everything and was trying her best to harm Lindsey, but Lindsey was clueless and could only be on the passive and defensive side. These few encounters made Lindsey feel an indefinable resentment for Ann.
This woman had her own company, looked so beautiful, and was already engaged to Zayn, so why did Ann still want to harm her? It was fine if Ann was just targeting her, but Ann even made a move on Dezi.
When Lindsey thought of those things, she looked at Ann with a bit of hatred in her eyes, but she did not do anything and just stood there.
Ann looked at Lindsey staring at her and froze for a moment. Then, she suddenly laughed. "Do you hate me? Lindsey Juhl, you actually hate me? Do you think you're even qualified to hate me?"
"Why can’t I hate you?" Lindsey clenched her teeth as she squeezed out these words from her throat. "What do you have against me? Why do you have to target me like this repeatedly? Who the hell do you think you are? And why shouldn't I hate you?"
Lindsey endured all the things Ann did as she did not want Zayn to be caught in the middle. She also thought that perhaps she should really wait for a result.
However, the result was that this woman became more aggressive and tried all sorts of ways to harm her.
Lindsey really could not put up with this anymore.
As soon as she said that, Lindsey just wanted to retort, but out of the corner of her eye, she saw Ann's wrist move, and something in her hand came over towards her at once.
Lindsey was used to dodging attacks and lowered her head at once.
Ann just shouted like a psycho, "How dare you hate me, b*tch?! Go to hell!"
Lindsey dodged that blow in a split second but had no time to dodge the second one before Ann's hand quickly came towards her again.
At this moment, the young man that was following behind Soren earlier that came into the ward with Lindsey threw something over. The thing Ann was holding fell to the ground and shattered.
It was the glass on the bedside table.
Ann wailed probably because her wrist was hurt.
The young man looked at Lindsey and asked in a panic, "Are you okay?" ‘If she’s injured, not to mention Soren, the President will kill me…’
Lindsey nodded and said, "I'm fine."
She was far away from Ann and saw that Ann's wrist was bleeding. She was shocked and did not expect this young man to be so skilled.
The young man scratched his head in embarrassment. "Umm...I didn't have anything else with me, so I just took out a small blade."
