Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 252

Everything that happened last night was like a dream. Seeing the smile on Lindsey's face, the gloom in Zayn's heart was swept away.

Soren left, so Sieben followed him. The maids removed Sieben’s place setting from earlier and replaced them with new ones for Zayn.

"Zayn, I'm full." Lindsey pouted a little and looked at the glass of milk placed in front of her.

"Just eat a little more with me," Zayn said as a matter of fact. His eyes were permeating with gentleness.

Lindsey let out a long sigh and looked a little helpless. She had a doting tone as she said, "Okay then."

Soren did not sleep all night. He followed up with what happened at Pink Lane. He originally thought that Liam Wilford was behind this, but all leads stopped at the host. Moreover, the owner of Pink Lane was an old fart that was from the same generation as Old Master Guggenheim.

The situation behind Pink Lane was very complicated because it involved too many people in high positions. Thus, Soren had to weigh the situation properly and needed to show them that the Guggenheims were not one to submit. At the same time, he could not overdo it. Soren was accustomed to dealing with these kinds of situations, coupled with Zayn’s suggestions, the matter was cleaned up thoroughly even though it took all night.

Soren looked at the girl who stopped in front of him and habitually rubbed his brow. "Get out of the way."

"Why didn't you let me go last night?" Sieben stubbornly looked at him. She had already asked Soren once when she first saw him.

"Kid, are you too bored?" Soren pushed her away. The bottom of his eyes was full of fatigue. "If you have nothing better to do, go back to school!"

Soren really took her as a child.

Sieben closed her eyes and moved out of the way, but she followed Soren closely. Soren entered the loft and began to undress. He needed some rest.

Sensing Sieben's presence, his hand that was on the hem of his shirt paused as he said in a stern voice, "Get out!"

"No, I won’t!" Sieben sashayed in and sat down on the edge of the bed. "Did you forget that this is also my room?"

Soren turned around and was about to leave.

"The mighty Mr. Soren is scared off by a little girl like me? Others will surely laugh if they find out." Sieben was like a clueless newborn calf that was not afraid of a tiger.

Soren thought about what happened the previous night and knew that the girl was relentless and he would only end up without sleep. He paused in his footsteps, turned around, and fiercely kicked the door shut.

There was a loud bang, but Sieben was unfazed by it.

Then, Soren took off his clothes, threw them aside, and walked step by step towards the bed.

Sieben was still smiling, but in the next second, her small chin was pinched by the man. "Do you want to die?"

She shook her head.

"Behave yourself if you don't want to die." Soren's voice implied a threat. Then, he laid down on the bed and casually pulled the quilt over his body.

The girl's distinctive voice rang in his ears, "Here I thought you were gonna do something to me..."

Her warm body squeezed under the quilt and pulled Soren's arm as a pillow under her head. Soren's body stiffened. He pulled his arm out, rolled over, and quickly fell asleep.

Hearing the even breathing sounds of the man beside her, Sieben moved gently and got up to look at the man's side profile.

Soren was not as handsome as Zayn, nor did he look as elegant as Shaun. He was more masculine and edgy with well-defined features, a real macho man.

They were happy after avoiding an incident, but some people were not as calm nor delighted.

Liam Wilford had just gone to see Sophie Leger and returned with a rare smile on his face.

"Young Master, Lindsey Juhl’s been saved by Zayn Guggenheim." Smith probably was not aware that he should not rain on someone else's parade.

Sure enough, when Liam heard him say that, his face immediately turned glum. "I made so much preparation and you’re saying that she was saved?"

"Yes." Smith was not moved by his anger. He still looked calm as he explained, "It’s not that your plan wasn’t good enough. It’s just that someone revealed Lindsey's whereabouts to Zayn Guggenheim. Also, last night at the bar, there’s a young man named Shaun Juhl. Even if Zayn Guggenheim doesn’t show up, he’ll also ruin your plans."

In a successful plan, one needed to get the place, time, and people right. Liam had meticulously planned out the time and place, but he trusted the wrong people.

In particular, this person was his sister.

"Allie is getting bolder now." The smile on Liam's face gradually became distorted and it looked extremely sinister.

After he said that, Allie Wilford called, probably because she knew that she could not hide it from Liam.

When the video call was connected, Allie confessed, "Brother, I did something."

"Did something?" Liam looked at the sister he grew up with. His expression was gloomy. "My dear sister, do you know how much energy it takes to successfully kidnap Lindsey Juhl? Why did you just let her go like that? Did Zayn feed you some kind of poison that rotted your brain?"

Allie's face was glum and she pursued her lips. "Brother, I naturally have my reasons for doing this. You wanted to teach Zayn a lesson because he touched Sophie, but if something happens to Lindsey now, Zayn will only suspect you, so we might as well confuse him so that he can't be sure who actually did it."
