Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 251

When Callum heard about the flight accident, he first checked whether Yvette had boarded the flight and the system showed that she was on the plane. That was why he was in such despair.

"I was about to board." Yvette was eating an ice cream cone and its crunchy biscuit gave off a pleasant sound. "Everyone was boarding when I suddenly remembered that I forgot to bring my little turtle."

The little turtle was a gift that Callum bought for her when she was five years old. It was just a small green plushie, but it was treasured by Yvette for many years.

"That stupid toy." Callum was back to his usual self. He was dissing that plushie, but the corners of his mouth were upturned.

"Then I noticed that my phone’s battery died, so I just came back down. I sat outside the airport for a while, ate something, charged my phone, and even slept for a bit. When I woke up, I heard that the plane I was supposed to be on had an accident, so I came in to try my luck and didn't expect to really pick up two homeless little boys."

Yvette purposely tried to sound all grown up, then she pretended to let out a long sigh and at last, she revealed a mischievous smile.

However, the two people who used to dislike her for being too playful and immature did not say a word.

The early morning sunlight sprinkled on Yvette's face. Her double bun was a little loose, so she looked a little messy, but when she smiled, she was incredibly good-looking.

The sun would set, only to rise again.

At the Guggenheim mansion, Lindsey’s fever finally subsided before dawn.

After a whole day of suffering, Lindsey’s body temperature finally reduced, so Zayn could finally put his mind to ease and slept next to her.

Lindsey woke up in the shadow of the morning light, feeling a sense of relief after the fever.

She moved her fingers lightly and found that they were being held tightly by Zayn’s hand. She looked over and saw that Zayn was still not awake yet. He just tightened his grip in his sleep.

The man had heavy dark circles under his eyes and he looked extremely exhausted. Lindsey's heart ached and she carefully stretched out her other hand to caress Zayn's sleeping face.

Lindsey was in a daze last night and heard the doctor's words.

"The child is fine, very healthy. Young Master, don’t worry." She could not remember what Zayn said later.

Lindsey laid down motionless for a long time, fearing that she would wake Zayn if she moved. However, her current physical condition simply did not allow her to remain motionless for too long. The number of times a pregnant woman went to the bathroom increased, so Lindsey could not hold it in any longer and carefully placed Zayn's head on the pillow while she tried to pull her hand out.

It was then that Zayn finally woke up.

Zayn had just woken up and was still unaware of his daze. When he saw that Lindsey was awake, he subconsciously reached over to touch her forehead and asked, "Are you feeling uncomfortable?"

He put down his hand once he felt that her temperature was normal. Lindsey caught his hand and planted a gentle kiss on it.

"Nope, I'm fine," Lindsey vaguely said to Zayn.

The man froze for a moment then immediately pressed the petite woman in his arms underneath him. A moment later, Lindsey felt the familiar sensation of being out of breath.

Sieben hesitated for a moment and also smiled. She shrugged her shoulders and said, "Okay." She then picked an omelet from the table and ate it.

"Umm...that’s..." Lindsey did not stop her in time and watched Sieben spit it out all over her plate. Sieben even looked a little confused.

Her behavior this morning was more like what a girl her age should look like.

This was the first time Lindsey saw Sieben looking so helpless, so she could not help but laugh. She then handed over a napkin to Sieben.

"That’s actually the cod liver omelet the chef specially prepared for my pregnancy. It’s a little too fishy, isn’t it? Zayn makes me eat this every day for breakfast..." Lindsey said, looking aggrieved.

“How could you even eat this sh*t willingly?! Is he trying to torment you? Are you sure it’s not meant for the cat?” Sieben looked horrified and made a disgusted face as if she was about to vomit.

When Zayn and Soren came downstairs, they saw Sieben making a funny face while Lindsey was laughing so hard that she snorted.

Sieben looked at Lindsey in awe and thought her love for Zayn must be so great that she could stomach this. When she saw Soren coming downstairs, she regained her composure. Just as she was about to withdraw her gaze, she saw that Soren's face also seemed to show a hint of a smile.

Soren always had a taut face, so this faint smile was especially valuable. The corners of his lips curled up gently and his eyebrows looked relaxed for a moment. His cold chiseled face looked softer.

Suddenly, Sieben felt that her funny faces earlier were worth it.

Zayn’s attention was all on Lindsey, so he did not notice Sieben. He went forward and pulled Lindsey up, who was leaning on the table from laughing so hard, and said softly, “Be careful.”
