Forced Into Marriage: My Husband’s Too Mean novel Chapter 200

"Isn’t she the Wendells' little princess?" Allie curiously looked in the direction where Yvette disappeared.

Lindsey turned back and smiled. "Yeah, she’s still a little kid."

Allie took Lindsey’s arm and said, “I called you so many times but you didn’t answer. You definitely have something up if you come here all of a sudden. Lindsey, why don’t you talk to me anymore?”

She and Lindsey were walking and talking. They looked like best friends.

Even though Lindsey thought it strange that Allie would suddenly show up, with Allie’s barrage of questions coupled with her baby brain, she forgot what she wanted to ask Allie.

By the time Quentin received news that his people lost Lindsey, it was already at night.

The two people lost Lindsey, so they went back to the hotel where Lindsey was staying to wait for her, but they waited until dark and did not see Lindsey appearing at the hotel.

The two then panicked and called Quentin to report the situation.

"Keep searching! What’s the use of me punishing you now? Finding the Young Madam is most important at the moment...Hurry!"

After he hung up, Quentin dared not delay for another second and quickly called Zayn as he arranged for more people to search for Lindsey in Harrisburg.

In the living hall of the Guggenheim mansion, Zayn was being berated by the old man. He was asking when Zayn was going to pick Lindsey up when the phone he had casually placed on the table rang.

"Hello."

Fearing that Zayn would interrupt him, Quentin used his fastest speed to report the situation to Zayn. "Young Madam is missing. Our people followed her halfway and lost her. At that time, there was a young lady next to her who seems to be Wendells' little princess, but she has taken tonight's flight back to Atlantic City."

Zayn had his back to the couch when he answered the call. His back suddenly stiffened. The seated old man and Mrs. Wendy who was standing next to him noticed Zayn’s momentary change in breathing.

"Send everyone over and move quickly," Zayn said cryptically because of the old man’s presence.

This was the second time. The last time his people lost Lindsey, she jumped into the ocean and was not heard from for six whole months. This time, they lost her again.

Zayn already knew that Quentin would keep an eye on Lindsey, so he turned a blind eye to it. He was actually worried, but he was just stubborn.

It had only been a day, yet they lost her.

Zayn did not dare to let the old man know about this, so he pretended that nothing was wrong and finished his meal. He even met the old man's inquiring gaze and faintly explained, "Just some company matters."

This meal tasted like wax to Zayn. By the time Zayn drove away from the Guggenheim mansion, Quentin had already got someone to search all the bus stations, train stations, and airports in Harrisburg.

"President, we found that the Young Madam bought a ticket to New York City at 8:00 pm. Counting the time, she should’ve arrived by now.

"We also checked the airport surveillance and saw a woman with a similar figure to the Young Madam on this flight. She’s wearing the same clothes that Young Madam was wearing earlier in the day."

Quentin finished the report in one breath and waited for Zayn's next instruction.

"Keep an eye on both sides. Don't let go of any leads."

The steering wheel under Zayn’s hands made a random turn, then Zayn suddenly thought of something and asked, "What did you want to tell me last night?"

"Oh, last night...umm..." Quentin paused and continued, "I just wanted to report to you that the Young Madam met a few gangsters that were robbing and kidnapping someone. She was passing by and helped out, saving the Wendells' youngest daughter by chance."

"Robbing and kidnapping?" Zayn's voice sounded murderous.

Quentin hurriedly finished the rest of the sentence, "At that time, our people took care of it. They’re now in a detention center."
