It has been a busy week with Andy’s surprise wedding preparation for mom till she gets back and me, I’m still thinking on what I should about the phone call from her.
I guess… I’ll have to leave again…
To be honest dad’s death were also a reason you could say why we left but actually it was only a cover up… of something bigger and darker secret that I hold and unfortunately brought my mom along.
Although we have been living here for nearly 3 years I was glad that mom was finally able to move
on and I couldn’t be more thankful for Andy for helping her.
However I guess… I have to leave her but luckily she has someone other than me and I am grateful
for that.
I have been planning for this for quite a while now, actually I’ve planned this the moment I left our
old town… that is to move away… somewhere far away from here and from my painful past.
Because this way mom won’t get hurt again…
Just a few more weeks then I’ll graduate and leave everything behind…
I stare at the plane ticket once more when suddenly I heard giggles and shuffling on the stairs so I quickly hid my ticket on my drawer as I made my way downstairs only to meet him and his groupies.
My scrunched into discuss as I watch them saunters to his room with the same two Blondies before touching him, oh how I wish I could rip their filthy STD filled hands off of him—wait! I shouldn’t be thinking like this…
I shouldn’t be… jealous…?
No I couldn’t be… Travis and I are so over!
He’s going to be my future step brother for god sake! I shouldn’t fall for him again! I can’t take the
risk of getting hurt again!
Good thing I’ll be leaving soon… but suddenly the thought of leaving him breaks my heart—no—I
shouldn’t think of him… ever!
I let out a frustrated sigh as I have a mental battle with myself but as always my brain always win so I just gave up and shut my brain up if that is even possible.
========================================== =
I made my way downstairs since the constant noises next door because of someone *cough* Travis
*cough*
Jesus Christ!
That boy has some serious sex problems!
I mean come one!
Really?!
It’s midday for god sake!
Why am I acting like this?!
Ugh! Whatever I’m going!
As I reach downstairs I made sure to slam the door really loud before I head off to somewhere.
You know what… I think I need my me time back, and that means pigging myself out with ice cream
and marshmallows!
Yay! To the ice cream parlour!
I am so childish!
As I reached the town’s ice cream parlour, I noticed there weren’t many people inside but just the average so the queue wasn’t really that long.
I order cookie dough ice cream with chocolate sauce covering it and tiny cute little pink and white marshmallows, my favourite!
I quickly sat down and gulped it all down only to get a brain freeze.
I shivered at the cold but I continued to eat all of it until I was left with nothing.
I lie back down on my chair and let out a contended sigh as I headed off to the library to waste some time.
I never really liked romance novels, it brainwashes people with empty hopes… I skim past through the romance section and onto poetry; although I never got any of them or even understand any of it I just like trying to play mind games as I try to figure out what they mean.
I’ve read most of the middle and low section so I was now left with the top, the day I dreaded has finally come.
“Well, nice meeting you Mare” he smiled as he gestured me to walk with him.
I quickly borrowed the book and left with Aiden.
“Are you new here?” I asked as he let out a chuckle.
“No, you just haven’t noticed” he said and just like that I suddenly felt bad.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Whenever you visit the library you’re either focussed on your book or out of this world, it was simply cute so I always sit opposite you but you never noticed me” he said.
I blushed with embarrassment.
“Sorry” I mumbled.
“No it’s nothing, it was an interesting sight anyway” he said amused as I playfully glare at him.
Just like that I spent my afternoon talking to him about books and general stuff.
It felt like we knew each other before as if like we met during our past life if you know what I mean,
that’s just how much connection I felt for him.
We had so many things in common!
Like the type of books we read, food we like to snack on, and other stuff.
I really had a nice time but unfortunately it was getting late so I decided to go back home hoping that Travis was done with his groupies!
Aiden nicely offered to walk back home but I couldn’t trust him yet so we just bid our goodbye by
the ice cream parlour.
Before I could walk away Aiden grabbed my hand, I looked at him with surprised and confusion filled eyes.
“Um… can we meet again…?” he asked and I nodded.
“If we can meet again then yes” I said as I walk away leaving him stun.
