Fiona was the only one who stayed at her desk the entire time, eyes glued to her sketches as if she couldn’t even feel tired. Everyone in the audience—and the people watching online—couldn’t help but admire her dedication. Well, most of them, anyway. There were always a few who just saw what they wanted to see.
From the start, some people online had already made up their minds about Fiona. They acted like they were experts, hiding behind their screens and stirring up drama with a few careless comments.
Some praised her, others tore her down—everyone had an opinion.
As the clock ticked on, contestants finished and trickled out, but the live stream kept rolling without a break. To keep things fair, the entire three-day event was broadcast nonstop.
And to make sure no one cheated, every contestant’s daily life was streamed, too. They each had their own lounge, but everything—eating, drinking, sleeping—was on camera. For three days, they didn’t see anyone else. Other than meals and sleep, there was no contact at all. Security guards stood outside each door.
The teams waiting outside were a mess of nerves—sometimes even more anxious than the contestants themselves. But Amy and the Woods family’s contestant? They were relaxed. They knew the truth: no matter how hard they tried, there was no beating International Glam or Country M.
So they just decided to do their best and not stress. As long as they didn’t come in last, it was fine.
Basically, they put themselves on “chill mode.”
Fiona, meanwhile, was already done with almost everything. She spent a day and a half just catching up on sleep and playing video games, totally unbothered by the competition outside her door.
Online, though, things were getting heated.
Fiona was the only one who seemed to eat and sleep without a care in the world.
“Wow, Fiona’s really playing it up. Look at her acting all high and mighty. She gets the same three days as everyone else, but she thinks she’s special and just slacks off. She doesn’t deserve this!”
