Fiona lifted her gaze, her expression hardening. If there was one thing that got under her skin, it was being threatened. And the woman in the video had just stepped right onto that landmine.
This time, her dear cousin was as good as gone.
"Oh, really? You’d better watch closely, because this is going to haunt you forever."
Fiona set her phone on the table, gripping her weapon tightly as she walked toward the man sprawled on the ground. A sly smile crept onto her lips, and a glint of malice flashed in her eyes.
A loud bang echoed as a gunshot rang out, hitting the man’s shoulder blade. His screams filled every corner of the room. Another shot followed, and Fiona kept firing until the gun was empty. Only then did she toss it aside, her eyes twinkling with a hint of amusement.
She looked back at the video call, her smile twisted like a demon’s, her eyes mocking. "So, how was that? Enjoy the show?"
"You’re insane, Fiona! You’re out of your mind! How dare you kill my son? I will never forgive you! You’ll pay for this!"
No matter the threats spewing from the other end of the call, Fiona felt nothing. She had vowed long ago that anyone who harmed Jackson, even the main branch of the Collins family, would pay dearly. Let alone members of the Stonnell family.
With another bang, Fiona fired at the phone, leaving a gaping hole in its screen.
A wave of satisfaction washed over her; this was what truly made her happy.
She quickly dealt with the remaining men, snapped a few pictures, and sent them to Jasmine, instructing her to forward them to the Stonnell family.
