Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life novel Chapter 1689

Seeing that Aunt Helen wasn't budging, Jasmine didn't waste words. She grabbed Aunt Helen's wrist, gave it a firm pull, and sent her spinning towards the hospital room door.

"Sorry, Aunt Helen," she said simply.

As Jasmine finished her move, Fiona stepped up to the bedside. The rest of the Bryant family finally caught on to the situation, scrambling to push Fiona away. After all, if the old Mrs. Bryant were to die, it would suit their plans just fine.

Jasmine, no martial arts master but certainly tough enough, was more than capable of restraining these folks.

"Fiona, Grandma's in your hands now," Jasmine said, tangled up with several family members.

Fiona didn't flinch. She opened her kit of sterilized needles, took one out, and swiftly inserted it. Almost instantly, the old lady gasped for air, showing signs of life.

"Jasmine, are you trying to get your grandma killed?" someone shouted.

The Bryant family was in a frenzy, rushing at Fiona. But with Jasmine standing in their way, they had no chance to get through.

"Jasmine, you've got the heart of a snake! How could someone as disloyal as you come from the Bryant family?"

"If you're going to be heartless, don't blame us for being ruthless."

The room descended into chaos as they all lunged forward, desperate to put an end to this. They all shared one fear: if the young girl managed to save the old lady, their plans would be ruined.

Stopping Fiona was their top priority.

Jasmine, outnumbered, took a few hits but didn't back down. As long as she held her ground, Fiona could work to save Grandma. Grandma was her everything; she couldn't let anything happen to her.
