Chapter93
“I can’t bring myself to say farewell. Violet might cry and I don’t
want to see her in tears.” I sighed as we left the palace. “Plus I’m
sure I’ll come back to her in no time. I have good feeling about
this war”
“Well at least tell her you are leaving through mind–link. She
can’t find out from other people. It’s too cruel.”
That I agreed. So I mind linked Violet and told her that I was
leaving now.
“Without saying goodbye?! How can you Asher! Leaving me
alone in this place like that.” Her voice was already broken, and
it broke my heart just as I had expected.
“Don’t be sad babe. I’ll come back. I always do. And I promise
you this isn’t the end. We still have so much ahead of us. So
many days to face together.”
I could hear her gentle sobs. Then she whispered, “You better
keep that promise. Or I’ll find a way to drag you back.”
I smiled, picturing her beautiful face in my mind, “I’m counting

on it.”
Alpha Charlotte gave us a great news before we departed.
She had asked the elders of Nightshade Pack. Apparently, the
6
magic barrier Isaac that had created could be broken even by a
single person’s blood.
The Royal Council said it required Violet and all her brothers
working together, but Charlotte’s sources suggested otherwise.
This made our plan significantly easier.
Our strategy was straightforward: swift, quiet, and decisive.
We would surround Isaac’s stronghold, let Philip break the
barrier, and take out his forces before reinforcements could
arrive.
Isaac thought he had control over the land that he processed,
but he couldn’t have been more wrong. This land wasn’t his; it
had been mine long before he claimed it. Before the rogues
overran the area, my father and I often came here. I knew
every twist and turn, every shadowed path.
Isaac was bound to lose the war this time.
Chapter93
Night fell quickly, and under its cover, we moved.
Our forces crept silently through the dense trees. As we
approached the land that Isaac possessed, the faint hum of his
barrier became clear to us, a low, thrumming sound that
vibrated through the air.
Philip stepped forward with a blade in one hand. He sliced
across his palm. The scent of his blood filled the air, and the
barrier shimmered before dissipating entirely.
I gave him quick, silence nod, and we moved forward without a
sound.
Isaac’s men were prepared for an attack. But they
underestimated our numbers. They probably didn’t think these
many Alphas would join me in this war.
We overwhelmed them quickly, cutting through their defenses
like a knife through cloth. By the time Isaac’s reinforcements
arrived, half of his rogue warriors were already down.
Isaac arrived, but way too late. His face twisted in rage and
disbelief when he saw the scattered weapons and dead bodies
across the ground.
“Isaac!” I called out to him, “It’s over. Surrender and give us
Michael.”
His lips curled into a sneer, but he didn’t transform or vanish as
I thought. He simply raised his hands up in the air and gave me
a casual shrug.
“Well bravo brothers. Looks like you’ve taken this war.” he
chuckled icily.
He surrendered. I almost couldn’t believe it. Isaac was never one
to go down without theatrics. This was too… easy.
“Where’s Michael?” I snapped, my eyes fixed on him, afraid that
he might pull any dirty tricks any second.
“Don’t worry. He’s in the dungeon. Safe and sound.”
“Then bring us to him!”
