Fated to My Twin Sister's Alpha (Violet and Asher) novel Chapter 92

Chapter92

I gasped. He turned to me, his gaze icy, Why? You think I can’t

do it?

I hesitated and decided to give him the truth, Well.no. I can tell

you hate him. But you don’t strike me as that kind of people.”

I’d known Matthew for years, and he’d always seemed like

someone who preferred words to actions.

He smirked, though it didn’t reach his eyes. Maybe not. But it

was my choice to make. My closure to find. Asher robbed me of

that.”

I didn’t know how to respond. Part of me wanted to argue, to

tell him that Asher had done what he had to, but I could see

there was no reasoning with Matthew when it came to this. So I

changed the subject. So what’s your plan now?

Matthew shrugged, his indifference returning. I came back

because I wanted to see for myself if Asher is truly the one to

bear the weight of this responsibility. From what I’ve seen, I’m

not convinced

Chapter 2

I frowned, his words striking a nerve. You don’t think he’s

capable of leading?

I heard the things about Isaac and those crazy magic shits. At

least I’m not comfortable with leaving this kingdom’s future to

Asher’s hand.”

I glared at him. He’s such a cocky asshole who’s all about the

barks and no bite. No wonder I hated him the first time I saw

him.

But arguing with him did me no good. And he’s the only person

close to family that Asher had got left in this world. Maybe I

should do something.

If you think that, then why not help him? You’re his cousin,

Matthew. You could be there for him, support him. Isaac has

already hurt him enough. Maybe you could be the one to make

things better!”

Matthew raised an eyebrow, and he turned away with a snort.

I’m not his cousin,he said quietly. My father killed his father.

Every time Asher looks at me, all he sees is the past, the pain.

I’m a reminder of everything he’s lost. And the same goes for

me.

He stood, brushing off his clothes.

Let it go, Violet. Some things just can’t be fixed.

Before I could respond, he walked away, leaving me alone in

the garden. I watched him leave, his words echoing in my mind.

He knew Asher better than I’d realized. It’s a shame how things

ended between them.

I sank onto the bench he’d left, staring at the flowers swaying

gently in the breeze. My thoughts drifted to everything that

had happened recently: our foster mother’s death, Kylie’s

betrayal, Michael’s disappearance. It felt like the weight of the

world was pressing down on us, and there was no escape.

Jayden was handling the funeral on his own now. Philip and I

couldn’t attend, and Kylie couldn’t return to the Silver Moon

Pack. It was all on Jayden’s shoulders, and I hated the thought

of him being alone in this.

Hey Violet!

I turned and found Philip walking close with a concerned

expression.

I heard you skipped the meeting. Figured you’d be out here,he said, sitting beside me. What’s wrong? What did those Alphas

say?

I shook my head, forcing a smile, Nothing. I was just. thinking.

About everything. About Jayden. About the funeral. He’s doing

this all alone. I feel guilty!”

Philip sighed, leaning back against the bench. Same here. But

we’re all doing what we can, Violet. Jayden knows that!

I know. I just couldn’t help it.the death, the loss. It’s hard not to

feel. defeated.”

Philip looked at me, his expression gentle. It’ll get better. Once
