Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 545

**QuanTech Innovations:**

As Selene walked into the lobby, employees greeted her with a mixture of respect and awe. She was dressed in a simple, loose-fitting suit with a cinched waist, her dark hair pulled back in a neat ponytail, and comfortable flat shoes on her feet. This was the new normal she had instituted. Each floor now had a changing room, and employees were encouraged to wear slippers and dress comfortably. High heels and stockings were a rare sight, reserved for after-work plans.

The employees joked that Selene’s plan was "insidiously brilliant," making the office so comfortable they never wanted to leave, thus turning them into willing workhorses. But despite the teasing, they were clearly happier.

"Good morning, Ms. Thompson."

"Morning, Ms. Thompson."

Selene stepped into her private elevator, accessible only by her keycard. As the doors closed, a group of employees filed into another elevator.

"Did you see the news today? The CEO of Vaughn Enterprises is getting engaged! Apparently, Ms. Thompson's own sister is marrying into the Vaughn family, and she's pregnant!"

The whispers started immediately.

"Two sisters marrying the same man? That's insane!"

"Ms. Thompson's sister must have been with Mr. Vaughn for ages! I heard they were inseparable for years."

One employee sounded indignant. "Ms. Thompson probably endured it all until her kids were older before she finally left. Such a waste of her youth."

"Do you think she knew about her sister's pregnancy? She didn't seem affected at all," another mused.

After sending the text, she put her phone down, her attention already back on her work.

Meanwhile, in a domestic bridal studio, Felicity saw Selene's reply and her face contorted with rage.

"Bitch!" she hissed. A nearby sales associate shot her a disdainful look and walked away.

Felicity had come to the studio with Matilda. The staff were seasoned professionals. Seeing the "bride-to-be" show up without her fiancé, they had adopted a cool, indifferent attitude toward her.

"Selene, dear, do you think this one is pretty?" Matilda called out. She had squeezed herself into a strapless wedding gown and was now parading toward Felicity, her face beaming as she held up the massive skirt.
