Dumping The Ice King His Mini-Tyrant novel Chapter 546

When Felicity saw Matilda emerge in a wedding gown, she rolled her eyes so hard she thought they might get stuck.

“Mom, are you insane? *I’m* the one getting married, not you!”

Felicity’s tone was sharp, but Matilda simply ignored it, turning to admire her reflection in the full-length mirror. Spotting a sales associate approaching, she beamed and posed.

“Tell me,” she chirped, gesturing between herself and her daughter, “who looks like the mother and who looks like the daughter?”

The associate hesitated. She knew perfectly well who her client was; Felicity had made it clear upon entering that she was here to try on dresses, and Matilda was just accompanying her. While Matilda had a youthful face and smooth skin, no amount of upkeep could completely erase the age difference between them. When Matilda had asked for the dress, the associate had assumed she was fetching it for Felicity. She never imagined the woman would put it on herself.

Forcing a polite smile, the associate said, “Ma’am, that gown is absolutely stunning on you. Did you and your husband ever have professional photos taken? We have some wonderful anniversary packages if you’re interested. You could even arrange a new portrait session with him to celebrate a milestone.”

Matilda eagerly took the brochure the associate offered.

Even worse, Selene had taken one look at a photo of the bridal salon and known instantly that it was beneath the standards of Vaughn Enterprises. If Harrison truly cherished her, he would have flown her to Europe to be fitted by the same couturiers who served royalty.

The more Felicity thought about it, the angrier she became. Glancing over at Matilda, who was now basking in the consultants’ flattery, she pulled out her phone and dialed Harrison’s number.

“Hello.” The man’s deep, magnetic voice sent a shiver down her spine, a pleasant tingle that momentarily made her forget the distinct note of impatience in his tone. She was stunned he had even answered.
