Dumped My Cheating Ex. Now I'm Sleeping Next to a Billionaire CEO novel Chapter 835

“Go ahead.”

“Ever since the old madam passed away, things have been chaotic at Nelson Corporation.”

“When Mr. Nelson was still in the Capital, no one dared to make any trouble. But after he left, the second master’s faction started pushing against him.”

“Mr. Nelson… his situation is delicate. I’m not sure he can hold out much longer.”

“Madam, do you have any ideas?”

Right now, Nelson Corporation had five main shareholders.

James and Tyler, the two brothers, each held fifteen percent.

Their second uncle, Brian, and Aunt Martha each had fourteen percent.

Emmy owned ten percent.

The rest of the minor shareholders had already picked their sides.

As soon as Brian got back to the Capital, he threw everything into disarray.

The steady peace Nelson Corporation once had was gone.

This was the first time Emmy had heard Joshua talk about what was really going on inside the company.

She thought for a moment. “I understand. Let me think it over.”

Joshua nodded. “Of course, madam. I won’t take up your time.”

He left with the documents.

But Emmy spent days thinking and still couldn’t find a way out.

Right now, her top priority was to protect herself and the baby she was carrying.

In this kind of family power struggle, taking any side could bring risks she couldn’t predict.

She couldn’t, and wouldn’t, gamble with her child’s future.

Days passed until, out of the blue, Tyler called her himself.

His voice was gentle, warm, a little too careful. “How are you feeling these days, Emmy?”

Emmy rested a hand on her belly and answered softly.

She already had a feeling why he was calling.

After a bit of small talk, Tyler finally said what he really wanted.

She took a shaky breath. “After I give birth, I’ll keep my promise. I’ll make those AI prosthetics for you myself.”

She heard him catch his breath on the other end.

A long pause, then Tyler spoke again.

“Deal.”

The call ended.

Tyler set his phone down and glanced at the man sitting across from him on the sofa, a quiet smile on his face.

“My side is handled.”

“Mr. Sparrow won’t be disappointed.”

Opposite him sat Dean, just back from overseas. He wore a sharp black suit, his presence somehow colder, more intense than before.

Dean slid a folder across the table. “Looking forward to working together.”

Tyler picked it up, flipped it open. After just a glance, his eyes widened in shock.
