The doctor was slightly taken aback by his dramatic display, but chalking it up to an overjoyed family member, he simply patted Steve's shoulder before turning back to his duties.

Standing nearby, Abriella sharply caught the word 'baby' and her eyes widened to the size of saucers. "Baby? What baby?" She marched up to Steve, thoroughly bewildered. "Sylvia is pregnant?"

Steve nodded, his eyes still rimmed with red. "Yes. She is five months along."
