Abriella ranted and raved in a rapid fire tirade for several minutes. After venting her frustrations, she suddenly realized the other end of the line was suspiciously quiet. "Emmy? Are you listening?"

"I am listening," Emmy replied calmly.

Abriella was completely baffled. "Wait, why are you not shocked at all?"

Emmy rubbed her nose, feeling a bit awkward. "Well... I actually already knew Sylvia was Steve's ex wife."

A heavy two second silence fell over the call. Then, Abriella completely lost her mind.

"Oh, great! So you knew all along too! Then why did you not tell me?! After all this time, everyone else knew the truth, and I was the only idiot kept entirely in the dark?!"

Hearing her frantic protests, Emmy quickly adopted a soothing tone to calm her down. "Abriella, please do not be mad. This is Sylvia's private business. Even though I found out by accident, it was not my place to go around broadcasting it. Besides, you were already married to Will by then. You two have such a wonderful relationship, so what point was there in bringing up the past?"
