Drunk and Daring I Kissed a Tycoon novel Chapter 461

When being firm didn't work, Vespera tried being gentle. When gentleness didn't work, she turned to coaxing. And when that didn't work either, she went all-in with over-the-top sweetness. One of these had to work.

Sure enough, Dominic's expression finally cracked. He looked at her fake expression and smiled. He asked, "You only kissed my left cheek. Do you not like my right one?"

Vespera had no choice but to kiss his right cheek, too. She threw in another kiss on his forehead for good measure. It landed hard, making it look more like a headbutt disguised as affection.

Five minutes later, the bedroom door creaked open. Dominic stepped out first, gently supporting Vespera as they made their way out.

Snowball meowed and rubbed against their legs. Vespera looked down and said, "Snowball, go and play somewhere else for now."

Dominic helped Vespera over to the dining area, but Snowball followed them. It sometimes walked in front of them, sometimes behind, and weaved between their feet. It was obvious that it wanted to attract their attention. Even a stranger could tell it was familiar with them.

"This cat…" Wanda wanted to ask a question.

But before Wanda could ask, Raymond jumped in and said, "This cat is mine. We came here yesterday, and it followed us."

As Raymond spoke, he walked over and scooped Snowball off the floor. He muttered, "I was wondering where you had wandered off to."

Vespera seized the opportunity to sit down. She lowered her head and coughed a few times. She didn't dare to look directly at Wanda. Pulling the covers tighter around herself, she continued to play the role of a sick patient.

"Mrs. Gildon," greeted Dominic in a relaxed manner.

On the other hand, Wanda stayed stiff. She responded, "Mr. Reid, thank you for taking care of her last night. It must have been tiring."

When Rebecca heard that, she thought it was definitely tiring.

"You're too kind, Mrs. Gildon," replied Dominic, taking the seat next to Vespera.

Wanda said, "Mr. Reid, your butler brought breakfast."

Raymond quickly stepped in humbly and said, "I didn't know that Mrs. Gildon had already prepared such a sumptuous breakfast. What I made can't compare. I wouldn't dare bring it out."
