Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy novel Chapter 832

In the grand hall, Warren stood with Celine’s hand in his left and a bulging bag in his right.

“Juniper!” The moment Celine saw her sister, she let go of her husband’s hand and ran toward her with joyous abandon.

Juniper stood up and took two steps forward, opening her arms to embrace her.

“My husband didn’t lie to me,” Celine said, hugging Juniper tightly, her small face scrunched up as she rambled on. “He said if I ate all my food, I could see you. I ate a lot, you know.”

“You’ve been so good,” Juniper murmured, her eyes softening as she gently tidied the messy strands of hair on Celine’s forehead. It was clear Warren had been taking good care of her sister. Though it had only been a few days, her complexion had improved significantly.

“Juniper, this is for you.” Celine handed the small, full bag to Juniper. “Yummy snacks. My sister gets to eat first.”

“Thank you.” Juniper looked down at the bag, which was stuffed to the brim with treats. This must have been how her sister cared for her when they were children.

As Juniper looked down, her bare neck was exposed, revealing a conspicuous red mark just above her collarbone.

“Juniper!” Celine thought she was hurt and pointed excitedly at the mark. “Ouchie? Need medicine.”

Juniper touched the spot, realized what it was in an instant, and subconsciously pulled her collar up. She shot a fierce glare at Shanley. He actually bit her? Was he a dog?

“Ahem, it was a mosquito bite. It’s nothing,” Juniper explained awkwardly, her cheeks flushing. “Go sit down and rest.”

“Oh.” Celine nodded, but as she walked away, she kept glancing back at Juniper’s neck, puzzled. She’d been bitten by mosquitoes before, but it never looked like that. Maybe… the mosquito that bit Juniper was just really big and vicious.

After they were all seated, Warren brought up the topic of the hypnotherapy. In stark contrast to Celine’s rosy complexion, his face was pale and weary.
