Calista was so scared that she dropped everything to the floor and tried to stay far awa from Eamon.
This time, however, he didn’t give her a chance to escape. Grabbing her hair tightly, he pulled her over to his side.
“Who are you trying to fool, pretending to be so noble? I just slept with a nurse yesterday. You would all spread your legs for ten thousand dollars, wouldn’t you? I paid her once I was done with her.
“You’re pretty, and you have a darling figure as well. That’s why you’re getting this opportunity. Understood?” As Eamon spoke, he held Calista tightly in his grip with one hand and started groping her with the other.
The inappropriate touch made her feel disgusted. Suppressing her feelings, she said, “Mr. Finnegan, I’m not the nurse you made a deal with. Please let me go.”
Her hoarse, trembling voice seemed to greatly excite Eamon. Not only was he not going to spare her, but he was getting increasingly turned on.
“Sure. I’ll let you go. I’ll let you go right this second.” He raised his voice as he spoke. The next thing she knew, Eamon pushed her to the hospital bed and pinned her down.
An unfamiliar scent immediately invaded Calista’s space. His aggressive, almost domineering posture was pushing her to a meltdown.
Her screams tore through the air. The powerlessness of being restrained was close to crushing her spirit entirely.
At that moment, another voice echoed at the door. A second ago, Eamon couldn’t wait to have his way with Calista, but a shiver suddenly ran down his spine.
Calista was still trembling in fear under his assault, but he had already risen to his feet, the arrogance on his face long gone.
“Honey, this isn’t my fault. I swear, it wasn’t me. It was her. She seduced me, promising to sleep with me for ten thousand dollars. I just…” Before he could finish, his wife had hurled one of her high heels at him.
Eamon immediately fled into the restroom. With a loud thud, he closed the door, securing his own safety and leaving Calista at the mercy of his wife.
Calista clutched her trembling body tightly, using every ounce of her strength just to hold onto her slipping clothes. She still looked a little dazed. Clearly, she still hadn’t completely recovered from the initial shock.
