Lucien said, “Tomorrow at 9:00 am, go directly to the courthouse to handle the divorce proceedings.” 

According to the final clause in the agreement, the party initiating the divorce would have no right to property division and would leave with nothing. 

Galen nodded. “Yes, sir.” 

Galen then called Calista, but she didn’t answer. After a while, he remembered that Lucien had previously had him install a tracking app on his phone to keep an eye on Calista’s whereabouts. 

He launched the app, and a green marker quickly appeared on the map. The location showed that Calista was at a motel. When he reported this to Lucien, the man’s expression was unreadable, showing no emotion whatsoever. 

After Rebecca left, Calista called Clarice. The latter was staying at a motel with Justin, so Calista went to find her. 

Clarice was preparing milk formula for the child. The motel room had a damp, moldy smell. A piece of flooring was peeling up in the corner, and bugs crawled along the walls. 

Clarice irritatedly glanced at Calista. “What are you doing here? This dump will probably dirty your precious shoes, Princess.” 

Calista lowered her head. “I came to ask you to come back. I hope you won’t divorce Anthony over all this. Justin is still so young, after all. 

“For the child’s sake, if you’re angry, just take it out on me. Mom is already planning to sell the house to pay off the debt. Once the debt is cleared, Anthony won’t have to go to prison. You and Anthony can start over. This will all pass.” 

“What? Sell the house?” Clarice immediately became agitated. 

“That old hag! Even if I divorce Anthony, half of that house is mine. If she thinks that she can sell it to pay his debts, she’s dreaming!” 

Clarice quickly put Justin down and grabbed a bag, hurriedly packing her things. It looked like she was heading back to Brego to stop 

Rebecca from selling the house. 

Calista tried to reason with her. “Clarice, Mom has no choice. The family owes a lot of money, and Anthony needs treatment. He has cancer, and he’ll die without money!” 

“What do I care if he dies? If he can’t afford kids, he shouldn’t have gotten married. Now he’s making me and my child suffer. 

“The divorce isn’t up for discussion. Get out of my way.
