The phone slipped from my hands, I was shaking uncontrollably, along with the tears that consistently escapes from me.
“I-I’m sorry Kendra, it’s all my fault.”
Taken by the light approaching and a sound of an engine, my vision slowly fades as well.

“Where am I?”
Along with the confusion was followed by the sounds of waves. My forehead automatically creased as I try to remember what happened last night.
“K-Kendra. I have to save her.” I immediately look at the clock near the bed, the kidnappers only gave me 24 hours. I have to move now.
I set aside all of my questions why am I in this unfamiliar place, and how did I able to get here. I stand up and get my phone on the study table.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
I froze to hear the familiar baritone voice at my back. I turned around just to confirm that it was that Coleman.
“You!” The moment our eyes met, rage automatically fills me. I quickly walk towards him and tried to punch him, but he manage to dodge it.
“Stop this f*cking game, Coleman! You assh*le!” I growled and incessantly punch him more.
“What the f*ck is wrong with you woman?” He asked coldly while moving fast as he swerve off my pounces.
I stop for a moment and glared at him.
“This isn’t funny anymore Coleman, are you really for real? Do you have to kidnap my friend and hurt her just to get me? You even pulled a show last night and do you think I won't suspect you? If you made even everyone believe you, well not me.”
“I don’t know what are…”
“Stop lying!” I cut him off.
“I’m here! I’m already here, now release my friend Achilles!”
“I am f*cking begging you!” I fell to my knees as my eyes pierced on the floor. I can eat my pride, and turn down everything, just for my friends, they are my only family, I can’t afford to lose them.
“I-I don’t know why are you eager to get me? I don’t understand it. My friends are my life, Coleman.” I softly uttered, I felt like I lost all of my energy. I shifted my gaze at him, and stare at him in his cold dark green eyes.
“Stop this. It’s not funny anymore.” I added.
Silenced reign for a couple of minutes, like we’re both weightings on who to speak first.
“If you’re thinking that I was the one who kidnap your friend, Jada. Then you’re wrong.” He coldly responded before turning around.
“Drop the f*cking act, Coleman! You’re ruthless enough to do that! What do you want huh? I’m here already! Release my friend!” I continously exclaimed, yet he didn’t bother to look back and went out of the room.
I closed my eyes to calm myself and leaned on the wall. I remain in that position for I don’t know how long until my phone rings. Nervously getting the phone beside me to see who it was, Trinity.
“Jada? The Cop was looking for you, they’re asking for your cooperation on their plans. Where are you? We’re running out of time Jada.” Trinity seriously said from the other line.
I stands up and looked at the window, and the calm blue calm ocean greeted me. But this is not the right time to appreciate this beautiful scenery.
“Where the f*ck I am?”
“Jada?”
“Oh, I’m sorry Trinity, I’ll be there. I’ll hang up.” I didn’t wait to respond and ended the call. I walk out of the cabin just to see Coleman having coffee.
“Where are we?” I calmly asked.
When the phone rang I ignored it, it was surely Trinity asking where I am. I have to get there as soon as possible.
Don’t worry Kendra, I’ll save you no matter what. I frowned when my phone consistently rings.
“Trinity, I’m driving. Don’t worry I’ll be there in three hours.” I uttered after sliding the screen without checking who was it.
“Jada.”
I froze to hear a man’s voice from the other line. Followed by my fast heartbeats when I recognize who it was, I can’t be mistaken. It’s the man wearing the mask on the video last night. I quickly pulled over. Taking a glance at the screen, it was indeed unregistered. I gulped and calm myself, heaving a deep breath, I glare at it and speak.
“Where is Kendra? What do you want from me?” I calmly asked even though deep inside I was palpitating.
“So fierce. Don’t worry, your friend is still breathing fine.” He whispered creepily and started to laugh like a devil.
“Don’t you dare! I’ll surely find you and I’ll f*cking burn you alive!” I warned him.
“Oh, I’m so scared.” He mocked and laugh again.
“Don’t forget that I’m the one in control here woman, so watch your mouth or you won’t be able to see your friend alive!” He growled from the other line that made me shut and brought terror into my whole system. I’ve never been this afraid in my entire life, only now that my friend’s life is in danger.
“Good Girl, now listen.”
“I want you to go to the place I’ll send you.”
“And don’t you dare call or bring a Cop with you. You should be alone, because if you failed on obeying my rules, then you know what will happen next.”
“I’m not a very patient person Jada, so don’t even try it.”
