MADELEINE
We had done it and accepted each other verbally. And now we just needed the last part to form the matebond and connect us 100% fully. I want to do it, but I get shy and unsure when he kisses me, and I feel that he wants it as well.
I think it is because I am scared he will be disappointed, that I have no experience at all. And in my head, I know it is silly because wolves, especially Alphas, prefer their mate to be a virgin. Maybe I need to tell him about my fears so I can hear what he says and think.
“Are you okay, Maddy? You seem so far away.” Mom asks me. And I look at her and smile at her.
“Yes, Mom, I am good. I am just thinking about Noah,” I answer and blush.
“Ah yes, I hope whatever it is, that it is a good thing,” Mom says and smiles.
“It is, thank you,” I say and blushes.
Mom doesn’t say anything more but goes upstairs to get ready. It is today that Dad and Noah’s Dad will come here with the rest of the pack. And we are all going to be helping get them settled here until the king's people are done getting the old pack lands Dad was given ready for them to stay at.
I go myself and dress in jeans and a shirt, and I am happy and looking forward to seeing Noah again. When Mom and Blaise are ready, we go out and go to where the pack members will be staying. We see Noah and Olivia there already working on setting the last things up. Noah smiles when he sees me and comes over to me, giving me a hug and a kiss.
“Hey,” he says, smiling.
“Hey. Sorry we late.” I tell him.
“Nonsense, we are almost done. Mom wants to make it all more comfortable.” Noah says, and I smile at him.
“Thank you for your family and pack for being so generous and helpful,” I tell him.
“We would do it for any pack that needed help. It’s how we believe our world should be: peaceful.” Noah says, and he is right.
“I love that,” I tell him and stand up on my toes to give him a kiss.
Then the bus stops and Dad comes out along with Alpha Louis. Dad kisses Mom, and Louis does the same with Jeanne, Madeleine’s Mom.
“Is everything ready?” Dad asks, and Mom smiles.
“Yes, and everyone here is ready to help them get settled.” She says, and Dad kisses her again.
“Good, let’s get started then,” Dad says.
One by one, wolves came out of the busses and stood together with their families. And we all got to work, helping them all to get to where they will stay for now. Getting everyone settled took a few hours, and Mom was given notes about the things they were missing, like clothes and other stuff.
When we are done, everyone is happy with how it went, and we walk back towards the houses so Louis can see where his family is staying. He has also yet to be told that Juliette is awake and that her second chance mate is a girl.
We walk into the house, and before anyone can say anything, Juliette walks down the stairs with Gina. And when I look closely, I see the newly formed marks on their necks.
