Inside the terminal.
I checked the time–there were still more than ten minutes before Adrian’s plane landed.
When I came out tonight, I specifically looked around and didn’t notice anyone following me, so I had the driver take me to the airport.
I thought the people Ferris had arranged would be resting at this late hour.
What I didn’t know was that Ferris had already come to the second floor of the airport, taking in everything around

“Dane watches over me during the day, so I let him rest at the hotel at night. He can’t keep sleeping in the car,” I replied.
“I’ll assign a few more people…”
Before Adrian could finish, I refused.
“No need, that would be too restrictive.”
I felt uncomfortable looking at the row of warriors behind Adrian.
“Alright, I’m back anyway.” Adrian’s eyes smiled.
“Yes, let’s go. My friend Cynthia is still waiting to meet you. She’s very curious about you. You don’t know–when I was leaving, she was dead tired but insisted on seeing you first before sleeping.*

We walked and chatted happily.
Ferris saw all of this, his face as black as the bottom of a pot.
More than half an hour later.
Adrian and I finally arrived at Cynthia’s villa.
Before I could open the door, I heard a maid’s voice from inside.
“Miss Cynthia, put the cake here, this decoration looks the best…”
