Kelvin angrily walked to the hall where Angelica's birthday was being held and headed straight to where he, Alisha, Shane and Mindy had been seated some minutes ago.

Alisha was not there as expected but he was hoping that Mindy would know where she was.

He walked towards Mindy who was seated next to Shane, bent down and whispered into her ear.

"Where is Alisha?"

Mindy looked into his eyes confusedly as she put her wineglass down and said "You left with her the other time."

"Fuck!" Kelvin swore and started walking away.

Mindy who had no idea what was going on but knew something bad must have happened got out of her seat and followed Kelvin out of the hall.

Few minutes after they had left the room, Mindy met up with an obviously angry Kelvin and said "What's going on?"

"She left." Kelvin replied.

"What!?" Mindy said as she stopped on her track, making Kelvin to also stop on his track. "What have you done to my friend!?" She asked angrily.

"Nothing." Kelvin replied.

"Then, why did she leave?"

"Because... Because..." Kelvin said before sighing heavily.

"You better start praying that nothing happen to my friend." Mindy said as she walked away from him and brought out her phone.

She started dialling Alisha's number which was going straight to voicemail and finally gave up after the fifth time.

'Alisha, where are you? I'm worried' she texted before running towards Kelvin who was about to start his car.

When Kelvin saw her coming, he wind down his glass and Mindy stuck her head inside as she said "Where are you going?"

"To her house. I need to be sure that she is okay."

"Likewise I. Can I?" Mindy asked.

Kelvin nodded.

Mindy opened the car door and slipped inside the car.

Few minutes later, she sent Shane a short message "I will see you later."

Thankfully, Mindy knew where the extra key was.

"Alisha! Alisha! Alisha!" Kelvin and Mindy were screaming as they were looking around the house.

"Alisha, where are you?" Kelvin murmured as he and Mindy were looking around.

They've checked every single room inside the house but Alisha was nowhere to be found. Thankfully, Alisha's mom was not around to witness all what was going on inside her house or else she would have started panicking.

"She is not here." Kelvin finally said.

Mindy nodded and was deep in thought for few seconds before something came into her mind and made her brightened up.

"Maybe she is at my house." she said.

Kelvin sighed and nodded his head.

They both stepped out of the house and Kelvin watched as Mindy was locking the door.

"What if she is not in your house?" Kelvin questioned.

"That is the only place she can be. There is no where else that she can be."

Something came into his mind and he replied "There is."

"Where?" Mindy asked curiously but Kelvin was already inside his car before she could finish the word.

He wind down his glass and stuck out his head "Check your house, I will check somewhere else." and sped off before Mindy could say anything.

Kelvin cut her off "She was lying. I was once engaged to her but not anymore."

Alisha looked into Kelvin's worried eyes and said "How can I believe you?"

"Put your hand on my heart and feel how it's beating. It's beating for you baby. For your love, for your touch, for your everything"

Alisha slowly took her hand out of Kelvin's and placed it on his heart.

His heart was beating thunderously against her palm and all sort of emotions welled up in her heart.

He had thought that she had came here to end her life and he had been extremely scared. He must have really care about her.

"I was scared that you've done something stupid." he said, confirming her thought.

He cupped her head with his two hands making electricity to shoot through Alisha's veins and moved closer to her.

Alisha looked up at his face which was shinning in the darkness and felt his warm breath on her skin. She sighed heavily and her heart started beating faster.

Kelvin leaned in. Then press his mouth against Alisha's skin just above the collar.

Alisha's legs wobbled but she tried to control herself. She slowly stopped Kelvin and whispered.

"But we're in a fake relationship."

"Not anymore. We stopped being in a fake relationship the moment I kissed you inside that room."

"Kelvin..." She said in almost a sigh. She had wanted to say more than his name but the rest of the words just evaporated out of her brain and made her to become speechless.

Kelvin gripped her naked arms and searched her eyes.

"Don't you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked humbly.

"Of course, I... want... to." Alisha stuttered.

And the next second, Kelvin crashed his mouth on hers.
