Mr Richard drove them to one of the most expensive hotel in the city.
"Have a beautiful night young ladies." he said with a big smile as he opened the car door for them respectfully.
"We will." Mindy said, winked and smiled back at the man.
They both started heading towards the hall but all of a sudden, Alisha stopped walking.
"What's wrong?" Mindy who also had stopped walking asked.
"I'm nervous" Alisha replied with an heavy sigh.
"Nervous?" Mindy said with two furrowed eyebrows "Nervous for what? Nervous about what?"
"About all this thing. I'm nobody. The people in there are rich people. Powerful people. I don't think I fit in."
"Alisha..." Mindy called worriedly.
"You can't understand since you were born into a rich family."
"Don't say that Alisha. I'm also nervous. Even though my parents are rich, they aren't as rich as the people at this party but..."
"I'm sorry for saying that." Alisha apologized.
"It's okay." Mindy smiled. "So...shall we?" She added as she pointed her finger at the door of the hall.
"Okay" Alisha shrugged and smiled back.
They started walking towards the door.
"Your invitation cards, young ladies?" One of the two hefty men standing at the door asked.
Both girls handed it over.
"Enjoy your night." the man said and opened the door for them.
"Thank you." Mindy replied as they walked past him.

Few seconds after they had stepped in, the two girls spotted Kelvin and Shane who were already walking towards them.
"Wow..." Alisha said as her eyes landed on Kelvin, the most handsome man that she had ever seen in her entire life and for some unknown reasons, her heart started beating hard against her chest.
Kelvin was putting on a neatly tailored indigo suit with an indigo jacket on a wine turtleneck top. His hair was professionally styled as usual and a golden wristwatch was shinning bright on his left wrist.
To cut the long story short, he was breathtaking and he stood out among the other men as usual.
Alisha swallowed her saliva uncontrollably as Kelvin was getting closer to her. She was still finding it hard to believe that out of all the beautiful, rich young ladies that were at the party, she was the one that Kelvin McSmith was walking towards. Fake girlfriend or not.
"Welcome." Kelvin said as he stopped in front of her and stretched out his hand for hers. "I've been waiting for you. The party just started. You look beautiful in that beautiful gown."
Kelvin ended the statement with his Top A+ smile which made the 'Thank you and you also look Good' that she wanted to say clogged up in her throat.
Alisha nodded her head and gave Kelvin her hand and they started moving towards one of the tables at the front.
Alisha had already turned pale and she was unintentionally shaking on her seat.
Alisha swallowed her saliva and breath in and out heavily. She looked at Kim Yoon-hye who was smiling and talking to kelvin like a queen and bit her bottom lip until it hurt because she realized something that hurt her to the bottom of her heart.
She had nothing to offer to Kelvin.
Firstly, she wasn't as beautiful as Kim Yoon-hye. The longest girl that Kelvin had been in a relationship with.
And secondly, she wasn't from a wealthy and influential family.
"We'll talk later" Kelvin said to Kim Yoon-hye who snaked her hand around his chest before catwalking away.
Kelvin faced Alisha who had been able to bring some colors back to her face and said "do you know who that is?"
"The lady?" Alisha asked as she drank her remaining drink in two chugs.
"Yeah. She is Yoon-hye. Kim Yoon-hye. You must've heard about her before."
"I know who she is. She is your ex." Alisha said.
Kelvin smirked.
"Can I get another drink?" Alisha asked as she showed Kelvin her empty wineglass.
"Of course." Kelvin replied and signalled to one of the waiter to come. He ordered another French Martini.
