When Xavier heard that he could reach Monique, he hurried over to Cindy excitedly, “You know where she is?”
“Yes, but it’s not convenient to talk here. Let’s find a place to chat,” Cindy walked forward after saying that, while Xavier followed behind her.
…
On the 23rd floor of Marriott Tower, Angel was alone in the office.
When Daddy saw that Mommy was not in the office, he asked her where she went. Angel said that Mommy went to Mansion Coffee, so he headed over.
Angel walked out of the office, as she was too bored. Mandy was not around--she was outstation--leaving Shaun and the others in the office.
Shaun, who was sitting nearest to the door, immediately noticed adorable Angel at the entrance. She was curiously looking around.
Angel wore a white T-shirt with a cute piggy print and denim overalls which made her skin extra rosy.
She had the same thick eyebrows as the chairman, as well a sharp nose and long lashes. Her facial features shared an almost 60 to 70 percent similarity with the chairman.
She looked like the chairman’s illegitimate child. After seeing how the chairman treasured her, they dare not treat her lightly.
Shaun walked out immediately and was met with Angel’s delicate features. She looked like a princess that walked out from a painting with her rosy apple cheeks and crystal clear eyes.
“How can I help you, kid?” Shaun asked gently. He was fond of Angel. Gone was his usual stiffness when he worked in the office.
“I’m bored all alone inside,” Angel said with a pout as she raised her chubby fingers to point toward the chairman’s office.
Was she the chairman’s illegitimate child?
“My Daddy is Henry Moore!” Angel smiled widely. She heard Mommy say his name like that before.
The entire office was stunned and gaped at the adorable girl with widened eyes. She called out the chairman’s full name!
Not many people dared to address the chairman like that. They were convinced that she was the chairman’s daughter; the resemblance was uncanny.
The whole office became even more enthusiastic, stuffing Angel’s pockets with everything they could find that she could eat and play with.
“Thank you,” Angel thanked them happily. Her eyes lit up when she saw that she had so much food.
