Henry arrived very early at the company. The company was quiet as no one came to work yet.

He strode out from the elevator and went to the reception desk of the secretary department. Henry seldom went over to the secretary department as it was always the secretaries who would approach and report to him.

Henry could still recall when Monique was squatting down and looking very miserable as her shirt was touching the floor. Everything including the floor was stained with coffee.

Monique, who looked rather anxious and cautious, made Henry's heart melt as he had an urge to offer her a helping hand. Henry curled his sexy lips and frowned.

However, Monique was forced to get her clothes changed. Every single person was trying all means just to get closer to Henry. No matter how slim the chances were, they would definitely cling on to it. However, it was different with Monique. She kept her distance away from him as though he was a monster.

Henry's facial muscles tensed up as the image of Monique smiling intimately to Simon came floating in his mind once again. His expression darkened.

Irritated, he pushed the office door open and entered. He immediately sank into the soft and comfy office chair.

Henry took up the documents on his office desk. Usually, whenever he had something going on in his mind, it would just disappear when he started working. However, now he could not even focus on reading the documents.

His mind was filled with images of Monique teasing and questioning him.

"You're just reluctant to discard my body. Don’t you forget that you can't go to sleep without me!"

"But why me? You're able to get any woman you like and most of them would be glad to sleep with you, but why must it be me?!"

Why must it be her?!

Henry could vividly recall Monique's exasperated expression, her teasing smile, and those disdainful looks in her eyes.

On the other hand, in Moore's manor, Angel was up very early. She did not have an idea about what was going on between the adults.

Angel was very unhappy that her mother would just rush out of town without informing her beforehand. It made her think that her mother got into trouble.

That was why she rashly begged Simon to help her look for her mother. It ended up with Simon being taken away by the cops.

Yesterday, Angel's father promised to help her out. However, after waiting for him till very late at night, Henry did not return and he did not answer her call as well.

That morning, Angel did not manage to see her father as well. Mrs. Lawson claimed that Henry returned last night but left very early the next day as there were tons of documents to be settled while the kindergarten announced a two-day holiday.

'Why would the kindergarten announce a two-day holiday? Was it because that uncle Leeds was captured by the police?'
