Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 48

She did not want to wake Angel and she thought that he felt the same.

However, Henry slightly squinted his eyes and raised his lips to an inexplicable arc, and said softly, “I can sleep with both of you.”

The feeling of a family sleeping together must have felt very warm! A smile hung at the corner of his mouth as he thought of this.

To Monique, this smile looked baffling and wretched.

She was feeling pins and needles. The doubts she had during the day popped up in her mind. Why was he treating Angel so well?

Was he a pedophile? This thought shattered all the thinking ability in Monique like a thunderstorm.

“Henry, I am warning you that you are not allowed to have any peculiar thoughts for my child. If you dare to hurt Angel, I would not let you go even if I had to sacrifice my life,” Her face turned pale, facial features twisted, clenching her fists in both hands, her eyes were filled with anger and cold light that had never appeared before.

She stared at Henry like a hedgehog that had stretched out, exhausting all her energy, and was ready to attack. The gentleness disappeared as the words came out from her mouth.

Henry could not understand the reason Monique became so angry out of sudden. She was like a general who protects the lord. She had no cowardice at all, unlike her weak self in the past.

Henry’s handsome and sharp face suddenly turned cold. His deep black eyes carried a bloodthirsty chill, ghastly as a devil making people fearful.

“Are you blind? Can’t you tell that I love her a lot? I can’t even wait to protect her, why would I hurt her!” Henry smiled angrily. His thin lips raised high, looking arrogant.

Monique became even angrier as she heard this. Was he a pedophile!

“Are you a pervert or a pedophile? You love her? Who are you to her? Who are you to love her? She is just a child,” She growled in a low voice. The anger in her voice was unrevealed.

I was her biological father!!!

Oh God! How stupid was she? He had to help this stupid woman with his intelligence.

Henry had insomnia at first. When he thought of the woman, he could not help but rolled his eyes several times. He lost count as to how many times he had rolled his eyes that night and could not fall asleep the whole night.

Monique saw from the back that Henry walked away angrily. Did she put the wrong blame on him? If that is so, why was he treating Angel so good, taking her to buy such expensive clothes and feeding her so well?

He seemed to be fond of Angel. This sort of inexplicable favor scared her.

She closed the door and locked it. She had even carried a wooden chair and leaned it against the door. If anyone opened the door and came in, she could tell immediately.

She went back to the bed and looked at Angel who was sleeping soundly. Her eyes were so gentle. She went to the bed, hugged her in her arms, and gently kissed her on the forehead.

Monique was too tired today, both physically and mentally. She leaned on Angel and fell asleep very quickly.
