Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 47

Angel was very happy tonight. She had been pumped for the whole night. She could not sleep because she had slept for a longer time at noon.

Monique was very anxious deep down. If Angel fell asleep, what should she do? Did she have to go over and accompany him to sleep again?

As she thought of his cold and handsome face, the scene of him forcefully kissing her twice today subconsciously appeared in her mind. The shame in her heart grew spontaneously.

This wolf in a sheep’s clothing! What a wretched man with a split personality!

He dared to force her into that in the day time, what more if both of them are staying in one room at night!

Her face turned scorching hot as she thought of what happened between Henry and her. Her heartbeat had also sped up.

However, it was too late now. Though she was helpless, she had to coax Angel to sleep.

Monique took a deep breath, sat up, and played Bandari’s music with her phone. Bandari’s light music sounded like a clean note, ethereal and pure, very relaxing.

“Mommy, I can’t sleep. Can you read for me,” Angel raised her little face and pouted her small mouth.

“Sure, but you have to sleep after we finish reading one book,” Monique said. She tried hard to turn off those terrible incidents in her mind.

“Mmm,” Angel nodded and agreed.

Henry had been waiting in the room for a very long time. He was extraordinarily patient.

He just wanted to stimulate that woman’s memory of what happened in the noon so that she could recall the night five years ago, the way she sank under him. She had completely forgotten about it, even looking disgusted and unresigned. Was he so unbearable to her?

Henry was a tall, handsome, and suave bachelor. Countless women wished to climb into his bed!

Was she playing hard to get?

“The mother goat rescued all the lambs and asked the lambs to take the rocks and put them in the belly of the big bad wolf. After the big bad wolf woke up, he felt thirsty. He drank water by the river, fell into the river, and drowned,” Monique’s voice was soft and sweet, like a spring breeze floating in Henry’s heart.

He felt like they were a family of three, just like an ordinary person coming back from work and his wife was home taking care of the child.

Monique raised her eyes after she finished reading the story and found that Henry was standing by the door.

He stood there lazily. The aura emanating from him was full of unfathomable danger.

He looked like a handsome and elegant cheetah, elegant yet fatally ferocious.

She knew what he wanted to do. He could not wait!

Monique did not want to disturb Angel. She stood up and walked out. She pursed her lips and said softly, “Angel is almost asleep. Give me a moment, I will go over once she is sound asleep.”
