Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 392

Monique’s brain shut down after Mandy said the flowers were from the chairman. Monique absentmindedly received the bouquet and walked back to her desk.

Her heart was pounding fast.

She felt a warm and bubbly feeling spread across her chest.

These were flowers sent by Henry Moore and delivered to her office by his own secretary.

It was a public acknowledgement of her status.

Was he asking her to be his girlfriend?

Was this really happening?

A day ago, Henry ordered Mandy to send flowers to the house but Monique thought it was a reward for her service.

The bouquet in front of her carried a different significance.

If they dated and got married, Angel and her would finally have a complete family.

It would be a dream come true.

The handsome visage of Henry Moore appeared in Monique’s mind. He was holding a bouquet of flowers as he approached her.

Beside him was Angel all bright-faced and cheery. Monique could imagine the peal of laughter coming from Angel’s open mouth.

Her coworkers came over to congratulate and tease her, as if they were her close friends.

“Whoa! That’s a beautiful bouquet you have there! You’re one lucky girl.”

“Oh Miss Xander, you’re a great match for the chairman.”

Mandy was still frazzled after finding out that Angel was Chairman Moore’s biological daughter.

She forgot there was a meeting that required the attendance of all the department managers.

It was fine as Assistant Manager Walt could help with the issue.

Mandy smiled politely at the man and said, “The chairman feels Miss Xander’s proposal is well-written.”

From the secretary’s tone, Assistant Manager Walt had an idea why she was here. “Yes indeed, I too feel the same. Miss Xander has potential for planning.”

“If so, I believe you can find a suitable role for her?” Mandy followed up with a question.

“Of course,” The assistant manager gave her a restrained smile.
