Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 287

Henry Moore hung up the call without prying for details. It was a sign of acceptance in a way.

He sent word down so the employees would naturally give her a wide berth. Having her in the company meant he could keep an eye on her. He returned to his work. The sooner he was done, the earlier he could go home.

The call ended.

The dial tone beeped continuously as Manager Harper stared into space.

Nothing terrible happened. He sighed in relief.

In the public relations department, Yvonne Xander checked her position. Her working day was made up of coffee and acting like she was the boss of the department.

As she drank her coffee, she thought of ways to get closer to Henry Moore.

She was very attracted to the chairman. He had all the characteristics of a perfect male specimen. Down to the slender physique, chiseled jaw, immersive black eyes and sexy lips. He was more eye-catching than a celebrity.

Yvonne dreamed of being the woman by his side. She imagined being a pampered princess envied by others. She made it her ambition.

Hannah walked over with a stack of documents and said, “Newbie, make a copy of all these.”

The daydreaming Yvonne was tugged back into reality and the woman was not happy about it.

“Can’t you do it yourself?” Yvonne retorted with a jibe against the woman with bangs.

Hannah was taken aback by the woman’s tone.

‘When did newcomers get to act like they’re the boss?’

Everyone present in the public relations department was appalled.

Was it true that the female driver was the chairman’s lover? They had a daughter who will take over the company?

When she caught everyone’s attention, Yvonne raised an eyebrow and shouted, “Get lost!”

Hannah never saw someone as unreasonable as Yvonne Xander. After what the woman said, Hannah decided she would play it safe. She collected the documents and went to the photocopy machine.

In Marriott International, the public relations specialist was a tier higher than the customer service executive. A customer service executive was just a fancy name for those who served the client tea and biscuits, reconciled documents and did the photocopying.

Hannah was a public relations specialist but she was being told off by a customer service executive. Discontent rose in her as she photocopied the documents

She wondered if she could leverage her good relationship with the assistant manager to teach the woman a lesson. Hannah made her way to the assistant manager’s office.
