Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 146

“Please!” Monique mumbled very softly, but Henry heard her.

He was stunned. When he asked her to beg him by the poolside, she was reluctant to do so and did not fear him throwing her in.

Yet, she was begging him at the moment. Henry sneered, “What are you begging me for.”

“Please let me go.” Monique’s voice was so soft. She had to surrender. She knew that if she did not surrender, he would take advantage of her in the room with both of them alone.

There was nothing such a bastard could not do.

“Why are you looking innocent now? You’ve even given birth to a child not knowing who the father is!” Henry was being condescending and mocking her with his cold eyes.

His warm breath flowed through her face, exuding aggressive masculinity.

He intended to say ‘When you crawled into my bed five years ago, weren't you happy?”

This stupid woman. She could not even recall that.

He had even admitted he was the child’s father. This woman was so stupid.

Monique felt stabbing pain in her heart. That was a scar buried deep down; a nightmare that would never go away.

“That’s an accident. I didn’t initiate it.” Monique’s lips twitched as she looked at him with her innocent eyes. Her tone sounded helpless with a hint of coquettish. “I was drugged. I told you before.”

Henry raised his brows. Those eyes seemed to be saying, ‘Despite so, you’re the one who initiated to sleep with me. You clearly did!’

‘You were supposed to only be with me!’

There was a baffling pride deep down in his heart. He suddenly thought of something, and his dark eyes turned cold. “Why are you hooking up with another man out there?” A magnetic cold voice sounded once again.

Hooked up with another man?

Monique looked confused.

Ever since she went out to fulfil more bookings that day, Henry emphasized several times that she hooked up with another man—he had even warned her not to do so!

Facepalm! Was he talking about Nick?

Kissed his hand? She suddenly recalled what had happened and found it funny. If it were other times, she would have teased him, but she was under his body at that moment.

Monique surrendered.

“I didn’t. He saved me and hurt his hand so I blew on it. Grandpa once told me that if one is injured, blowing could ease the pain,” Monique took a deep breath and explained.

She did not kiss his hand! Henry felt happy internally.

“If he was injured, you should’ve brought him to the hospital, not blow his hand!” Henry’s eyes were no longer stern as before. His frozen face was slightly relieved.

“He wasn’t willing to go so I helped him to ease his pain. Then we left our respective phone numbers for each other and separated.” Monique was internally rolling her eyes. This man could be really childish sometimes.

“Despite this, you shouldn't blow it for him. You can only do that to me,” Henry ordered. There was a gleam in his dark eyes.

His tone sounded arrogant, and his eyes looked determined.

Monique twitched the corner of her lips. This man was truly domineering. She was just his driver. Why did he care so much about her?
