Little Nomi had not seen Monique since she had fallen asleep yesterday. She was worried about her Mommy.

“Mommy is fine, she’s just tired. She’s still resting, don’t wake her up yet.” Henry reassured Little Nomi as he saw the look of panic in her eyes. He ruffled her hair as he spoke to her with a gentle and reassuring tone.

“I see,” Little Nomi blinked her doe eyes, her lips curled up as she acted like a tiny adult which was very adorable. Her skin was so fair and smooth, her cheeks slightly pink, she looked like a doll when she smiled.

When Henry carried Little Nomi in his arms, he had a strange feeling as if this adorable girl was his very own daughter. He would never have thought that he could become a father one day, and he did not mind that Little Nomi was not his actual daughter at all!

If one day he woke up without that adorable cheeks of Little Nomi’s, without that baby scent of hers, he might feel something was lacking. Henry looked at her with a gentle and charming look, she looked like she was thinking, like a tiny adult. Henry gently gave a peck on her small forehead, “Let’s go to eat something, I’ll bring you to play at my office later.”

“Yay!” Little Nomi smiled, and nodded cheerfully.

Was he her real Daddy, though? Mommy did not seem to like him very much, and always stopped her from calling him Daddy. But she really liked this Daddy, especially after he saved them from danger yesterday, she had made him her real Daddy, the one she really liked. This was the first time Little Nomi had a fatherly figure in her life, and it felt like a dream-come-true to her.

“Hmph, what’s up, Little Nomi?” Henry looked over, his dark eyes filled with love as he looked at Little Nomi.

Little Nomi was dressed in a pink princess dress, along with her pinkish cheeks, her beautiful face with fair and porcelain skin, she looked exactly like a little princess.
