When They Beg I Rise (Lemira) novel Chapter 694

Lemira shook her head. "I can't place it. I'll have to look into it later."

She felt as if she'd heard about this new energy project somewhere before, but she couldn't recall where.

Could she have heard about it in her past life?

Whatever it was, it bothered her.

A week later, at the artificial intelligence project showcase.

Lemira and her colleagues entered the exhibition hall, set up their prototype, and began the initial debugging.

"Lemira, is this your company's new prototype? Why does it look exactly like the new prototype from our Langston Group? Don't tell me you copied us."

Evelina strutted over, glanced at the prototype, and felt a twinge of regret.

If only she had successfully destroyed Maple Group's prototype, Lemira wouldn't have anything to present today.

But her plan had been ruined.

Lemira stepped forward to face Evelina, her voice low. "What's the matter? You sent someone to destroy our prototype just so you could copy it? You can copy the appearance, but you can't copy the technology. A fake will always be a fake. Just like you."

"Lemira, it's a pity that fire didn't burn you to death."

Evelina gritted her teeth in frustration. Why wasn't this bitch dead?

But Lemira's good days were numbered.

The Langston family would soon go bankrupt, and then she'd see how arrogant Lemira could be.

A cold smile touched Lemira's lips. "So you're admitting the fire had something to do with the Langston Group?"

"Don't make baseless accusations. Everyone in our circle knows about the fire at your company. Does that make everyone who knows a suspect?"

Asher had worked hard to convince Mrs. Waverly to continue investing. This time, he was determined to make a stunning comeback.

"What does Mrs. Waverly's funding have to do with me? Let's just compete based on our own merits."

Asher blocked her path. "Lemira, if you choose to side with me now, I'll tell you what I found out about the Sinclair family."

"I'll find it out myself."

Asher lowered his voice. "Lemira, the lead I found is enough to identify the person in the back of the car that caused the crash. It took me years to find this. Do you really think you can find it in such a short time?"

Lemira looked up. "Who from the Sinclair family was it?"

"Why should I tell you? You have no power, no influence. Even if you found out, what could you do? Could you touch them?"

Asher's tone was sharp. "You may know Thaddeus and Stella, but can they help you get revenge? In this world, you are nothing! The only way you can get revenge is through me, through the Langston family!"
