As I was heading back downstairs I had to try and clear my mind of what had just happened.

I went into the bathroom and found some supper glue, I went back to her room in the closet and sat on the floor with her

“Here let me see.”

She handed the trophy to me along with the tiny head that came off.

I applied the glue and then put the head on. I waited a few seconds and then checked to make sure the head was secure.

I handed it back to her and said “there ya go, all fixed.”

Her towel slipped a little bit when she did that.

I left the room right after her and before she entered the bathroom I turned her around and kissed her one last time.

She responded immediately as she held on to my arm for stability from the quick turn.
