Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1808

With a playful grin, Adora grabbed some paint and smeared it across Mavis's face before darting away and making a funny face.

"Auntie Mae is just as messy as me now!"

Mavis' playful side was awakened, and soon, they were chasing each other around the room, laughter filling the air.

When Sheena and Elliot returned, Adora was fast asleep in Mavis' arms.

Sheena was glad to see how close her daughter had grown to Mavis. With so much going on at the company, she had something she needed Mavis's help with.

Sheena signaled to Mavis, who gently laid Adora down on the bed.

"Mae, I need a favor," Sheena began.

"Sheena, you know you can ask me for anything."

Sheena sighed. "It's nothing too serious, really. In two days, the kids have their school entrance ceremony. Could you and Nathaniel help by taking them to register?"

Missing this registration would mean waiting another year to enroll at this particular school.

Despite Sheena and Elliot's influence, they couldn't pull any strings, as the school was known for its fairness.

Although she considered asking Lionel and Jacintha, she worried their naughty daughter might play pranks on Lionel.

Hence, Mavis and Nathaniel seemed like the more reliable choice.

Mavis immediately agreed, offering, "It would be our honor to be part of such an important event for them. Sheena, you don't need to be so formal with me. Why don't Nate and I come over tomorrow night to bring them to our place? That way, they won't have to wake up so early in the morning."

Nathaniel chimed in, "Send me the school's requirements, and we'll handle it."

Sheena nodded, appreciating the suggestion.

"Great, I'll have everything ready by tomorrow evening. You can pick them up then."

"Nana, we're heading back now," Nathaniel said as he and Mavis left E&S Haven.

On the way home, Nathaniel broke the silence and said, "Move back into the master bedroom tonight. Have the servants set up the guest room for the kids."

Besides, Mavis could sense Nathaniel's subtle care for her over the past few months.

For example, her injuries would not have healed so quickly if he had not insisted on Robert to treat her.

Out of the corner of his eye, Nathaniel saw her gripping the seatbelt tightly, a conflicted look on her face.

He could guess what she was thinking but chose not to say anything.

When they arrived at the Nicholls residence, Gabrielle was in the living room doing aerobics with a face mask on, following an instructor on TV.

Nathaniel immediately instructed her, "Move Mae's things from the guest room back to the master bedroom."

At first, Gabrielle ignored him, but when she realized what he just said, she jumped up excitedly and walked over to them.

"Nate, Mae, you guys finally made up?"
