Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1765

Nathaniel frowned and slowed down his pace, peeking through the door.

His face grew darker by the second.

Mavis sat beside an unfamiliar man inside the office, chatting and laughing.

Moreover, she did not seem to mind how close the man was.

Nathaniel narrowed his eyes and clenched his hands tightly, a chill emanating from him.

It had only been two months, and she already found a new lover?

"Ray, I think your idea is fantastic. She's definitely going to love this surprise," Mavis said, raising an eyebrow playfully.

Raymond shook his head with a smile.

"Mae, don't tease me. You know my personality well enough."

Nathaniel was instantly angered when he heard their intimate tones, his knuckles turning white.

Great.

Just great.

He chuckled coldly, choosing not to barge into the office.

Instead, he turned and walked away, his footsteps heavy with anger.

The noise caught the attention of those inside.

Mavis walked to the door, glancing around with a puzzled look, but saw no one.

Was she just imagining things?

Seeing her confused expression, Raymond asked, "What's up, Mae? What are you looking at?"

"I thought I heard someone at the door, but maybe I'm just being paranoid," Mavis replied, returning to the office.

Driving away from the company, Nathaniel sped down the road, his anger boiling over.

The road was mostly clear, with oncoming cars pulling aside to avoid the maniac in the limited-edition sports car.

After a while, Nathaniel's emotions began to settle, though his anger lingered.

The usual calm and rational side of him was gone, replaced by the burning image of Mavis and that man together.

Who was that guy?

Why did she seem so comfortable around him?

Lost in thought, Nathaniel slammed on the brakes.

As the car jerked forward, the seatbelt dug into his chest and caused a sharp pain.

He took several deep breaths, trying to regain his composure.
