Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1560

"But…" Nancy hesitated. "It's time for breakfast."

"He already had all those cigarettes for breakfast. Missing one meal won't hurt him. Let's eat without him."

Nancy wanted to protest but was pulled inside by Sheena.

Still leaning against the doorframe, Nathaniel was observing Sheena's attitude toward Elliot when she suddenly shot him a sharp look.

"If you bring any more rude guests to bother me and Mrs. Snyder, you can get out of here too."

Nathaniel was taken aback.

He clearly saw Sheena being quite rough with Elliot.

It seemed she really had lost her memory.

Her new impression of Elliot was probably at rock bottom…

Thinking this, he smirked and replied, "Got it."

As soon as the three went inside, Lionel rushed over to help Elliot.

"Elliot, are you okay?"

Elliot held his back with a grim expression, staying silent.

He was not okay.

Not in the slightest.

Getting kicked by his beloved wife first thing in the morning was not how he wanted to start his day.

Although he had intentionally provoked her, Sheena did not hit him out of concern for his health.

In fact, it was simply because she hated the smoke.

This beating was definitely not worth it, leaving him feeling somewhat aggrieved…

He let out a long sigh, leaning wearily against Lionel's shoulder, his long lashes drooping, looking dejected.

Lionel sighed, adjusting Elliot's coat.

"Sheena doesn't remember you, so why did she still hit you?"

The way Sheena had laid into Elliot made even Lionel wince from the sidelines.

Elliot remained silent for a few moments.

"She caught me smoking two cigarettes last night and two this morning."

Lionel was stunned. "You smoked four cigarettes in just a few hours?"

Elliot said nothing.

"Elliot, that's too much! Aren't you worried about your lungs? Honestly… you deserved that beating. Maybe even worse!"

Elliot did not turn back, quickly disappearing out of sight.

Lionel wanted to follow, but Nancy called him back for breakfast.

Starving after his morning run, Lionel reluctantly went inside to eat.

Five minutes later, Elliot found a suitable rock by the creek and sat down.

Soon enough, Lionel came jogging over.

With a sheepish grin, he pulled out two buckwheat buns he had smuggled out.

Squatting by Elliot's feet, he offered them with both hands.

"Skipping breakfast is bad for your health. Want some?"

Elliot glanced at the buns, reminded of Sheena's earlier words to Nancy.

"He already had all those cigarettes for breakfast. Missing one meal won't hurt him…"

Elliot instantly lost his appetite.

He turned away with a cold look, muttering, "I'm too pissed off to eat."

Lionel, patient as ever, tried to coax him.

"Elliot, come on. Sheena watched me take these and didn't say a word. That's practically her acquiescing to this!"
