Wait, She’s a Billionaire (Sheena Lawson) novel Chapter 1559

Sheena concealed the flash of emotion in her eyes as she put down the brush. Then, without looking at Elliot, she picked up the washbasin to wash her face.

A few minutes later, with her hair slightly damp and her fresh, makeup-free face glowing, she walked out of the bathroom.

Her gaze landed on the man by the door, wrapped in his dark military coat.

He held a freshly lit cigarette between his fingers.

Another one already?

Two at night, two in the morning. Was he trying to ruin his lungs?

Noticing her stare, Elliot turned his head slowly.

Their eyes met briefly before he looked away, a defeated expression crossing his face as he continued to smoke.

Sheena's brow furrowed.

She strode over, reaching to snatch the cigarette from him.

"Stop smoking."

Elliot pulled back, wary of her touching the lit end.

His face was arrogant, a stark contrast to the vulnerability he had shown the night before.

"The only person who can tell me what to do is my wife. Since you don't acknowledge being my wife, why should I listen to you?"

Sheena's eyes flashed with anger.

"I'm not your wife, but I'm still going to stop you."

She forcibly took the cigarette from his hand, threw it on the ground, and stomped it out.

"Mrs. Snyder and I don't smoke, but you're filling the place with secondhand smoke. It's incredibly inconsiderate."

Her reasoning was sound.

She was truly angered, and her disgust for the smoke was obvious.

However, none of her words hinted at her concern for his health.

Elliot's face paled slightly as he swallowed the bitterness in his mouth, avoiding her fierce gaze.

He smiled and replied, "Fine, if it bothers you that much, I'll smoke somewhere else."

He pocketed the cigarette pack and stood up to leave.

Before he could take a step, a swift breeze swept past him.

He instinctively dodged, but Sheena caught his collar.

Annoyed, he tried to counter, but he held back his strength.

Sheena deftly avoided his move and used her martial skills to pin him down.

Elliot's legs wobbled, and he took a deep breath, suppressing a groan and letting her vent her anger.

Behind them, Nancy was shocked by Sheena's display of strength.

Nathaniel, who had just finished washing up, leaned against the wall.

His eyes were fixed on Sheena's face, and he watched her expression closely.

Lionel, who had just finished his run, witnessed the one-sided fight outside the yard.

Lionel's eyes widened in shock.

Was he… witnessing Elliot on the receiving end of domestic violence?

In the yard, Sheena kept kicking Elliot, targeting the fleshy part of his body without causing serious harm.

After venting her anger, she released him, reached into his pocket, and pulled out the cigarette pack.

With a loud snap, she threw the pack on the ground and stomped on it, flattening it.

Still not satisfied, she kicked it away.

Glaring at Elliot, she sternly warned, "Let me be clear one last time: I hate cigarettes. Even if you smoke outside, I'll still be disgusted when I catch the smell on you. I don't care how powerful you are in Svelton. If you insist on staying here, you will follow my rules. If you dare to smoke in front of me again, I won't hesitate to beat you again."

She turned, her expression softening as she took Nancy's hand and said with a gentle voice, "Mrs. Snyder, he reeks of cigarettes. You won't be able to stand it. Don't let him back in."
