‘What was that about?’ I thought confusedly.

As I reached down, my father came forward to take my hand from Liam’s and started introducing me to the unfamiliar faces standing in front of me.

“Everyone, this is my lovely daughter, Elena. She is going to be the Luna of our pack soon” said my father proudly introducing me to the bunch of unknown faces.

“And Elena dear, this is Alpha Arthur Smith and his wife, the Luna, Mrs. Emma Smith”

“Hello, really nice to meet you” I said smiling while shaking hand with both of them.

“Pleasure to meet you, beautiful” said Alpha Arthur with a gentle smile.

‘Not much pleasure in my case’ I thought but plastered a fake smile on my face.

“You have such a lovely daughter” complimented Mrs. Smith with such genuine motherly that I couldn’t think anything bad about her.

“Thank you” I replied shyly.

“She is so pretty. Can you tell me your skin care routine?” asked a beautiful young girl with doe eyes which was hazel green in color. Her eyes were so vibrant making it her best feature. She must be in her teenage years. She was not too tall and had milky white skin with cute chubby cheeks. Looking at her all I could think was ‘CUTE’

“Shh, Alice!” said Mrs. Smith while holding the girl back.

“I am really sorry, she still does not know how and when to talk” said Mrs. Smith with a sigh.

“It’s okay, Mrs. Smith. I will gladly share my skin care routine with you” I replied smiling at the cute girl.

“This is Alice, Mrs. and Mr. Smith’s daughter and this is Luke, their oldest son, the future Alpha of Moonshine” said my mother introducing me with the rest of them.

“Hello, pleasure to meet you too” I said with an awkward smile when my eyes fell on the guy, I was having staring contest not two minutes ago.

I decided to take a good look at the guy from the corner of my eyes. He was also having the same eye color, hazel green, as his sister, except for the fact, he had deep set of hypnotic eyes. He had sharp L-shaped chiseled jawline. So sharp that it could cut melon in half.

He is strikingly handsome and beyond good looking! No wonder Lily was so excited for his arrival. He looked like a complete Greek God with his well-structured face and with flawlessly defined features. The fit of the suit was making his perfectly sculpted physique look ten times more sexy. The guy looks like a model!

‘What am I thinking? I shouldn’t be lusting over Alpha of the enemy clan! I can’t do this to my mate!’ I thought looking away, giving my complete attention to his younger sister, who was craving for it.

“Same here” he said in a deep husky voice while extending his hand for a handshake and looking at me straight.

Those two simple words were enough to increase my heartbeat.

‘Oh My God! He even has deep husky voice! I am going to melt. This guy will be the death of me! I need to stay away from this Greek statue!’ I thought nervously moving my hand to hold his.

I did not even touch his hand and still I am feeling the electricity passing all around my body.

Suddenly, his sister came between us and pushed him away along with his extended hand.

‘Life savior! An angel! The one who should be praised’ I thought looking at her happily.

“Move away big brother. Pleasure is all mine. Looks like we are going to have so much fun” said Alice jumping happily while holding my hand.

“I bet” I replied happily as well.

From the corner of my eyes, I could see him rolling his eyes to his sister.

I heard a familiar coughing sound, I have been hearing since kinder-garden. Whenever there is a hot company around, her tuberculosis symptoms get activated.

I turned towards her and signaled her to come forward. Honestly, she did not even need it. The moment I turned, she magically appeared next to me.

“Oh, this is my best friend, Lily Williams” I said introducing her with a small smile.

“Hello, glad to meet you all” said Lily in an excited but still elegant tone.

Looks like her plan on seducing Alpha Luke is still on!

“Same to you” replied Alice smiling at her and Luke just nodded.

“I am glad that we came to this decision of merge” said Alpha Arthur who was having a casual conversation with my father, and both the Alphas were smiling while looking at our short introduction.

“Me too. We didn’t make the same mistakes like our ancestor did” replied my father nodding in agreement.

“Cool” said Lily with a wink.

Luke just nodded without saying much. Does he ever talk?

Alice and I continued walking and reached near her room. I opened the door and showed her the room. I decorated her room decently but if I would have known that she would be this nice, I would have taken more efforts.

The room was decorated with woods and beige shade, keeping it minimalistic but giving it a chic modern look. It was having wooden ceiling like all the other rooms in the pack house, the brown bed was at the center of the room with beige bed sheet which was matching with the color of the walls and curtains. There was a wooden dressing table next to the bed and a huge cupboard at the side of the room. The bed, dressing table and cupboard was having the same carving on them.

“I am sorry. I had less time. I just got to know about this merge a week ago. So, I couldn’t do much” I said in an apologetic tone.

“Are you kidding me? This is perfect! Thank god, you didn’t make it pink princess room like my father! Otherwise, I would have been traumatized! You did an amazing job, thank you” she said with sweet smile on her face while clapping her hands happily looking at her new room.

‘She is so young yet so accepting’ were my thoughts while observing the polite girl.

“Glad you like it” I said smiling.

“I really love it” she said happily and continued,

“I am kind of thirsty after jumping and screaming for the whole time. Can I get some water?” she asked in an embarrassed tone.

“Oh, no problem. You wait here and take a good look at your room and let me know, if you want to change anything. In the meantime, I will get you some water” I said moving towards the door.

“Okay, thanks a lot sister” She said with her signature sunshine smile.

I was moving out of the room but I forgot to hold my dress up. I tripped and lost my balance with a small scream but a giant pair of hands caught my waist and saved me from falling directly on face.

It didn’t take much of the time for me to realize who it was! Here I was looking at those gorgeous hazel green eyes directly, which I was trying to avoid so hard.

As soon as our bodies came into contact with each other, a magnificent spark with so much emotions generated from our bodies.

Both of our eyes widened in shock as a word rolled out of our tongues at the same time,

“MATE!”
