“Celly, thank you! I’m Team Celestine forever!”
Flossie was usually the cheerful office clown, so this was the first time Celestine had seen her cry so much.
She teased jokingly, “From now on, I’m calling you Crybaby.”
“No! I’m Celestine's number one fan!”
Flossie hugged Celestine’s shoulders and shook them playfully.
Celestine burst out laughing.

“Uncle, they were just bullying me because I’m new! Waaah! They all ganged up on me!”
In the office, Yolande threw herself into Bagehot’s arms.
Bagehot had a headache over the whole thing.
It was originally a minor error with some data. He could have easily covered for her and quietly found a scapegoat.
But at the critical moment, Yolande had not only pointed fingers but insisted the document was already faulty when she got it, initially trying to pin the blame on Celestine.
“You’re still so childish,” Bagehot said, his tone full of resignation.
Yolande cried, “I know, I’m useless! I don’t bring any value to the company! It’s all my fault, okay? I’ll go back to Silvermere tomorrow, find someone to marry, and be a housewife!”
“Yolande, don’t say things you don’t mean!” Bagehot’s expression turned cold. He pulled the struggling Yolande back into his embrace. “This matter is over. I’ll double the salary that was docked, alright?”
“Hmph, your wife will get jealous again if she finds out you’re subsidizing me like this!” Yolande’s tone suddenly shifted, turning sour. “Are you going home to eat and sleep with her tonight too?”
Bagehot stroked her head indulgently. “I won’t go home tonight. I’ll stay with you, okay?”
“Like I care! You cut my salary today, are you going to kick me out tomorrow?” Yolande said, playing the spoiled brat.
The Kelsey family had plenty of sons but had never had a daughter.
That was until Bagehot’s older brother adopted a daughter from a branch of the family—Yolande.
She grew up incredibly spoiled. Upon graduation, she went straight into the Kelsey's company, working as Bagehot’s secretarial assistant for several years.
Even after Bagehot got married, he still prioritized her.
