Thorns Grow After Betrayal (Celeste and Chester) novel Chapter 352

Dahlia stood frozen. "What did you say?"

"I said, I was the one who arranged for Raymond's withdrawal from school and sent him back to the country to find Celly, to help them mend their relationship," Sanderson repeated, his voice heavy with exhaustion.

Back at the hospital, every one of them had tried to talk Celestine around, and she had thrown them all out.

He could sense her resolve to divorce was absolute.

At this point, only a child could possibly soften her heart.

However, the fewer people who knew about this, the better. That's why he hadn't even told his wife. He never imagined it would almost blow up in his face.

"Sanderson, are you insane? You sent Raymond to suffer at the hands of that witch! Do you even consider him your grandson?! Why didn't you tell me!" Dahlia charged at him, pounding on his shoulders in a frenzy.

Sanderson sighed in resignation. "This is exactly why I couldn't tell you!"

If he had told her, the plan would have been dead on arrival.

"Sanderson! You're getting old and senile!" Dahlia trembled with rage. "Are all the other women in the world dead? Does our Chester really have to have that wretched creature Celestine as his wife?!"

Sanderson's expression turned cold as he gripped her flailing arms. "Dad knows about Chester's condition now! He's already come to Silvermere! Do you think Harrison Fordham wouldn't find out?! He's already brought his good-for-nothing son back to manage the company! It's true Celly isn't the only woman in the world, but whoever marries her is the one who will solidify their position in the company! With Chester in his current state, how do you expect him to be a worthy successor?! If he loses Dad's support as well, his life will be ruined!"

Dahlia couldn't argue with him and just burst into tears. "Sanderson, you son of a bitch! All you ever do is yell at me!"

"Mr. Fordhams, Mrs. Fordhams, please stop fighting. Chester is still here. The doctors said that even people in a vegetative state can be aware. He'll be heartbroken if he hears this."

Joanna stepped forward, trying to mediate and pull them apart.

"Who do you think you are? Get out!"

As Joanna tried to pull Sanderson away, he suddenly flung her off with a shove of his arm.

Joanna lost her balance and stumbled, falling to the floor.

"Mr. Fordhams, I didn't mean any harm, I'm sorry." Her eyes welled with tears.
