“Meeting dismissed! Brian was in a foul mood and had no patience left for these people who only cared about profits. He wrapped up the meeting quickly and efficiently. He had to rush over to deliver desserts to Jessica, and he wasn’t about to waste any more time on them.

It wasn’t until he left the conference room that everyone else seemed to snap out of their daze, and their expressions turned ugly.

Even though they’d heard plenty of rumors about how Brian was supposedly whipped and completely devoted to his wife, most of them hadn’t really believed it. Even those who did believe it hadn’t taken it seriously.

After all, it was a win–win situation. Brian shouldn’t say no.

But today Brian had given them a harsh reality check, showing them just how powerful a man in love could be. Still, no matter how much he loved his wife, it shouldn’t affect the company’s business.

The board members exchanged glances and immediately decided to go complain to Gavin. But before they could even make their move, Gavin had already heard about the situation from his secretary.

He called an emergency board meeting and absolutely tore into every director who had tried to use Brian and Jessica’s relationship for marketing purposes.

“I’m warning all of you–if anyone dares to bring this up again, you can all pack your bags and get out!” Gavin roared. “Brian might not be able to touch you, but I sure as hell can!

“The Atkinson family isn’t done yet, and we can market anything except our family’s personal relationships. You heartless bastards spend all day obsessing over profits like a bunch of cold–blooded wolves!”

Gavin tore into every board member at the meeting, and none of them dared to talk back.

After all, Gavin had practically built Atkinson Group from the ground up, and he had more seniority than anyone else in that roo

Plus, Gavin had a legendary temper. When he told someone to get lost, he meant it.

“Yes, you’re absolutely right, Sir Atkinson. It’s all our fault. We won’t bring this up again,” one director quickly said.

“That’s right, we got blinded by profit and made a mistake. Please calm down, Sir Atkinson,” another added.

The board members immediately dropped their plans and started apologizing one after another, trying to cool Gavin down.

But Gavin wasn’t having any of it. He repeated his position one more time and forced everyone to promise they’d drop the issue before finally ending the meeting.

After that showdown, nobody at Atkinson Group dared mention using Brian and Jessica’s relationship for marketing ever again.

When Brian heard what happened, he personally went to thank Gavin. Then, he grabbed some fresh fruit that had just arrived by air freight and went looking for Jessica. He happened to run into her just as she was heading out with Sana to sign a contract.

Jessica glanced at him once and completely ignored him, walking around him with Sana right beside her.

“Jessica, you haven’t had your fruit today,” Brian called out, catching up to them and holding out the bag of fruit.

The receptionists watched the whole scene unfold with gossip gleaming in their eyes. One of the bolder ones even pulled out her phone to secretly record it and post online.
