Wesley went completely silent. He rubbed his forehead and let out a long sigh, wanting to say something but feeling like there was nothing left to say. Finally, he nodded with a heavy expression. “Fine, I won’t sit here. I’ll just sit at the table next to you.”

Sana leaned forward on the table and stared at him. “Are you serious right now? You’re really not going to stop? I’m on a blind date, and you’re going to sit right next to me? What’s that supposed to mean?”

Wesley had already pulled himself together. He smiled at her and said, “It doesn’t mean anything, so you don’t need to worry about it.”

He turned around and pulled out a chair at the neighbor

table, then waved over a server to order.
