"Mmph—" Analise's eyes widened, but then she looked resigned.
Was Gideon just going to act shamelessly until he got his way?
Gideon held Analise, who had gone limp in his arms. There was an imperceptible forcefulness in his tone when he said, "Let me be your mate, Ana."
"I won't—"
Gideon's eyes darkened when he heard her refusal. There was a cryptic emotion rising in them, and he bit her lips in punishment. "No? It appears that I haven't kissed you enough."
"Gideon." Analise tried to push him, but she did not manage to get him off her.
After a long time, she held onto his shoulders and gasped. "You… How could you! At least let me finish speaking."
"Hm?" Gideon stared at Analise, his lip curling slightly. "I thought you were just playing hard to get and wanted me to kiss you more."
Analise was rendered speechless.
"What I wanted to say was that I don't know whether I can form a contract with Shadowhawk Alliance. I'm part of Stormclaw Alliance now. Can we form a contract across alliances like that? Or will you just join Stormclaw Alliance instead?"
Analise rolled her eyes at Gideon.
Gideon's lips parted slightly. "I can do that. I would be willing to do it for you, Ana."
"Are you just going to neglect Shadowhawk Alliance?" Analise raised an eyebrow and reached out to press her hand against his chest. She was afraid he would lean down and kiss her again.
She felt as if her lips had gone numb from all the kissing.
"Shadowhawk Alliance will be my wedding gift." Gideon cocked his head to one side, looking perfectly serious.
Analise asked, "Would you really do something like that?"
"Well? Don't you want it, Ana?"
Gideon bent his head and looked at Analise's red lips. He could feel his body stirring with desire.
When she saw Gideon looking at her like a predator looking at its prey, Analise reached out at once to cover his eyes.
"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I? However, let's wait a while before we form a contract. After all, we still need large amounts of potion right now."
"Alright."
…
Meanwhile, at Colossus Alliance, a burly male smashed the empty potion bottle he was holding.
"What? 100,000 Cosmocoins for one of these? Gideon is committing daylight robbery!"
His name was Ryan York, and he was an adjutant of Colossus Alliance.
"Officer York… There's… There's more…" the therian standing at the door said tentatively.
"What else is there? Can't you say all of it at once?"
Ryan clutched at his hair. He felt that Gideon was clearly opposing Colossus Alliance.
Why would he do that? Why would he oppose them all of a sudden? Ryan had visited Gideon both openly and in secret to ask him for help. How had he offended him?
"Gideon says that it'll be 100,000 Cosmocoins for one and that he'll only sell us five a day."
"What?"
